Chapter 1 - The traveler

??? Pov

"Do you think she's gonna wake up Lumine?"

"I don't know, for now let's just wait."

"What about the weird reptile that keeps on saying random things Paimon doesn't even understand?"

"Like I said, I do not know Paimon. For now lets just keep her company until she wakes up. She may be an outlander like me."

Y/N's Pov

Ouch......My head hurts........

"Helio?......Heliolisk?....."

Whats that noise?

"Heliolisk~"

There it is again!........

"Helio......HELIOLISK!"

I was immediatly jolted awake. Literally. Heliolisk decided it was a good idea to use Thunderbolt on me to wake me up. Why did I allow this to become a habit for him.

"ARGH! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?!?!"

"Heliolisk." That was all it said before coiling up and laying on my lap. 

'It......was worried for me.' I thought as a gently pet it. 

"Ahem. Paimon and Lumine is here too you know." 

With widden eyes, I turned my head to see a blonde female and.........a floating child?!?!?!?!

"WAIT WAIT WAIT. HOW IS THAT THING FLOATING." I screeched pointing at the floating kid. The loud noise caused Heliolisk to sit up in alarm but then lower its head back down once he realized I was talking to the two people. 

"HEY! HOW DARE YOU CALL PAIMON A THING." It said as it repeatedly stomped its feet in the air just like Hau does it except he does it on land. The blonde on the other hand, was trying her best not to laugh but failed to do so. 

"Quit laughing Lumine, this is not funny >:( ." 

"I'm sorry Paimon, but I just can't help it." She said in between laughs. 

"Well put that aside for now." The kid said. "Paimon will introduce us. Paimon's name is....well, Paimon! And this one over here is Lumine." 

"Its the pleasure to meet you." Lumine said. 

"Its a pleasure to meet you too," I replied back "I'm Y/N. This one over here is Heliolisk." Heliolisk yawned in response to tell me that it doesn't want to be bothered from its nap. Funny how it woke me up earlier just to go to sleep.

"Oh so thats what it is," Paimon said. "Paimon thought it was a mutated lizard that learned how to use electro."

"I'm sorry, electro????" Lumine and I said in unison. 

"Yeah, it one of the 7 elements here in Teyvat. Its just like the energy the reptile released except its purple." 

"So its basically means the electric type?"

"Electric type? Paimon's never heard of that before."

"It could be that she's also like me, an outlander trapped in another world with no way back."

"I'm sorry but did you say 'trapped in another world'? As in I'm not in Alola anymore?!?!?!

"Yep that confirms it. You're definitely from another world."

Lumine's Pov

It has been 1 week since I met the female and her reptile companion, I found out that her world has these creatures known as Pokemon. She also explained about being the strongest trainer in the region called 'Kalos' and her being a champion. She even showed me some gadgets that are called Pokeballs she uses to catch the Pokemon. It also acts as a safe place for them. 

As the days gone by, I trusted her enough to explain what happened to me and my brother. At first she was quiet, but then she explained how she never had a family. She was an orphan so she never really knew how family love felt like. She only felt the love from her Pokemon.

I was heartbroken to hear that. How could someone live without their siblings and family?!

That day I swore to give her as much love as possible. 

Y/N Pov

Today I woke up to Heliolisk nuzzling his head into my neck. It was so adorable that I wanted to take a picture of it, too bad my rotom-dex was left in Alola. 

After breakfast of grilled fish, Lumine suggested we start leaving the beach and heading out to not only find her brother, but also find a way home for me. We all happily agreed. 

Who knows what else I will encounter in this new world.
