Chapter 5 - Adeventures with Jean

Y/N's Pov

I was sitting in the corner of the Grandmaster's room flipping through a book and swinging my legs out of boredom. Why you may ask?

I was about to leave out the door when Lumine stopped me. 

"I'm sorry Y/N but you can't come with us."She said. 

"Why not?" I pouted. 

"Its because you can't even wield a sword, let alone fight monsters."

"She's right cutie, Paimon can at least fly to easily dodge the enemie's attacks, while you're standing there vulnerable to every move." Lisa chimed in.

In the end, with the help of Lisa, Lumine was able to convince me to stay so I wouldn't get hurt. On the bright side, Jean was staying. She would be able to not make things boring....right?

" Ugh..... I'm so bored." I cried throwing my head back. "I apologise for that Y/N, but there's nothing I can do about it until the others return" Jean replied without looking up from her papers. 

"But why can't we do anything fun? Could walk around town or get a bite to eat or something?" I said, now sitting in a very weird position with my head dangling off the chair.

"I apologies again Y/N but there's still so much work I have to do. On top of that I have to deal with the fatui right now. They want to 'help' chase away Stormterror, but I know well that is not their intentions."

"Fatui? Whats that?" I asked now sitting up normally, interested about the 'Fatui'.

"They are an organisation from the nation of Snezhnaya. I do not know when or why they popped up, but they've been around ever since I was a kid. But what I do know is that they are trying to befriend every nation for reasons I don't know. However, one of their men, Dottore, supposedly took some kids from Mondstadt with him a long time ago, claiming in wanting to train them to join the fatui. Those kids were never to be heard of again."

.......That sure was a dark turn. I thought.

"For those reasons alone are why the rest of the 6 nations don't trust them."
