Tuesday

"-that's all for today class. Have a good day. " he dismisses us, already being packed up.
Quickly packing my things away in my bag before leaving class.
I have quite a load of homework to do so I need to get to the cafe before it gets too busy.
I don't notice of Dr Carter walking next to me until he speaks. "Miss Baranov, what do you think of my class so far."
Don't make a fool of yourself Mila.
"I find it fascinating as I have always had a passion for learning about how the mind works and about human behaviour so I'm looking forward to this semester, sir. " I say.
"Well I'm pleased to know that somebody else shares the same passions as me. I look forward to marking your essays Miss Baranov." a small smile forms on his beautiful face.
"May I ask where you are going now?" he questions and I frown as to why he wants to know but answer anyway.
"Uh to the cafe just out of campus."
"That happens to be my favourite cafe. Well, enjoy but I have to go now." And that's when I notice his bulge.
My eyes widen at the sight. "Bye sir."
. . .
"Human behaviour is the potential and expressed capacity (mentally, physically and socially) of human human individuals or groups to respond to internal and external stimuli throughout their life. While specific traits of one's personality, temperament and genetics may be more consistent, other behaviours change as one moves between life stages.
Behaviour is also driven, in part, by thoughts and feelings, which provide insights into the individual psyche, revealing such things as attitudes and values. It is shaped by psychological traits, as personality types vary from person to person, producing actions and behaviour.
The behaviour of humans falls upon a spectrum, whereby some behaviours are common while others unusual, some are acceptable while others beyond acceptable limits. This depends heavily upon social norms and is regulated by various means of social control, partly due to the inherently conformist nature of human society in general."
As I read over my essay on human behaviours, the chair across from me scraps against the floor making me wince.
I glance up and see a boy around my age. "Sorry to disturb you but this was the only seat available." he explains rubbing the back of his neck.
"It's okay." feeling shy for some reason.
I take in his blue washed jeans, black shirt, chains.
"So..." He says after a few seconds of awkward silence.
"What do you want?" I question quietly.
Hoping he just leaves me alone as I'm not good with people I don't know which is really why I don't have any friends. I'm too anti-social and prefer to stick to myself really.
I guess I just use that as an excuse to protect myself from getting hurt again.
"Well, I'm Asher, it's nice to meet such a beautiful face like you." He says sticking his hand out towards me.
I look at it then back at him. Feeling like he's not here for a good reason. Surveying the café, my eyes fall onto a group of boys sitting three tables away from us watching with one of them facing their phone towards Asher and I.
Sighing at the fact that I'm a literal joke to them.
"It's nice to know you think that but I have to go, Asher." I speak before grabbing my things and walking out of the café.
"Hey! Hey wait up!" He shouts at me, I ignore him and I carry on making my way back to the apartment.
I'm two blocks away from my place when my phone starts vibrating in my pocket.
I pull it out, checking the caller and see that it's my dad.
"Hey dad." I greeted.
"Hey sweetie, how was your day?" He questions as I hear shuffling in the background.
"It was good thanks, how was yours?" I answer. Frowning at the sound of other voices shouting.
"Uh- better now that I'm talking to my daughter."he chuckles.
Maybe I can trust him again. But I need to wait it out in case his facade slips and he actually shows his true colours. It definitely feels like he's hiding something though.
I guess that's what's making me hesitate.
"What are you doing?" He questions me once again.
"Just taking a walk." I lie when I start to hear heavy footsteps coming up behind me.
Run.
