It broke me to watch as our best friend, Rhys, strangle Mila until she passed out.
The betrayal I felt is what caused me to shoot him in the head. But as a cause of that, Mila got shot in the stomach.
It was a good thing we brought a team of doctors in case something happened and we needed them. So they were able to stabilize her and then transported her to the private hospital we had built years ago.
We're now sitting in her room as she talks to Lily and Grayson while the four of us watch her in amazement.
She's such a strong and amazing women, I really admire her.
She'd make a great mother one day.
We can tell Rowan has developed feelings for her as well and we all had a talk and came to agreement that if Mila also recipocated those feelings then we'd be fine with sharing her as well with him.
I just need to talk to her privately and ask if she's interested in him and fine with him being her boyfriend as well.

"Ever since Mila was taken, the Americans have been giving us trouble, I think their preparing for war with us." Ronan says as we stand outside and watch Mila sleep.
She will be in the hospital for the next few days because they want to make sure no infections occur around the bullet wound.
"I'm not taking the chance of retaliating just yet. If we do they will claim it as us starting the war and that will put us at a disadvantage." I speak up and Rowan nods in agreement to my words.
"You're right but they've been causing nonsense at our parents properties and if something happens to any of them, I won't hesitate to do so." Christian says as he clenches his jaw.
"Have you spoken to her yet?" Ronan asks and I shake my head.
"Haven't had a chance yet. I'll ask her just now when you guys go get the food." Walking to the door, I go to her bed and stroke her hair softly, slowly waking her up.
She groans and looks up to me. "You must decide what you want to eat and the others are going to go buy it for you."
She nods and slowly sits up before deciding on prawn and avocado sushi and steamed wontons.
After they leave, I take a seat on Mila's bed before grabbing her hand in mine.
"I just want to talk to you about something." I say as she looks as me with a confused expression on her face.
"I don't know if you have come to the conclusion that Rowan has developed feelings for you and we decided that if you have those same feelings for him then we're okay with you being his as well. Of course this will only happen if you decide to take us back." I explain and her eyebrows raise in shock.
