"Mila, sweet girl." Juilette, Nathaniel's mom, calls me.
"Yes."I glance upwards to her and see the her, Aura and Ana looking at me worriedly.
"Are you okay? You can tell us if it bothers you that our sons are dons to mafias. We're not here to judge." My whole body freezes in my seat.
"You're looking deathly pale Mila, do we need to take you to the hospital?" Aura asks as they all get out their seats and walking to me.
So it really is true, the conversation I heard not too long ago was not just me assuming or imagining.
They're really dons of three different mafias.
Suddenly feeling sick, I rush towards the bathroom, throwing up in the toilet. Feeling someone's hand pull my hair out the way.
"Are you pregnant? Oh my gosh, we're going to be grandparents!" Ana squeals.
"NO! No, I'm not pregnant." I say once I finish rinsing out my mouth.
Their eyes fill with disappointment and I look away feeling terrible with the way I've just acted.
"Did you eat something bad? Because you have a slight fever." Aura questions again as she places her palm to my forehead.
"No, I-I just didn't know that they'reactually dons to mafias. I didn't think it was true." I gulp and wince at the taste a puke even after washing my mouth.
"Oh. Oh no. We thought you knew because then you wouldn't be with them." Juilette freaks out, pacing around the bathroom.
"I-I won't tell anyone. I promise." Starting to freak out again.
This means that they're going to tell their sons that I now know the truth which means confrontation.
"I think I'm just going to leave." I point towards the door before rushing out, running after me with pleads, I get out the restaurant as quick as possible and into a random taxi.
A few minutes and I'm at my place. I shut my door and go brush my teeth and shower.
Sighing as I lay down in my bed, curling up into a ball, I sit and stare at the city. Watching as people go about their daily lives while I freak out about the unexpected but expected news.
I can't ignore what I did before. About my life being in constant danger by being associated with them.
Which means my dad is also in danger if he's not already with how he was attacked and killed but being brought back to life.
The thought of them killing people daily without being affected has me feeling sick all over again.
Do they kill the innocent too?
. . .
They've been calling me non-stop since yesterday evening and I haven't answered a single on.
I know I'm in trouble the second they step foot inside my place. And instead of feeling excited about being punished. Now I'm more petrified officially knowing what their capable of doing especially when angry.
Gulping when there's three loud bangs on my door.
"MILA! YOU BETTER OPEN THIS FUCKUNG DOOR RIGHT NOW!" Christian demands, shouting as his fists pound on the door.
. . .
"YOU BETTER OPEN THIS FUCKING DOOR YOU BITCH! I'LL KILL YOU AND KEEP YOUR FATHER ALL TO MYSELF! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT, HUH? OPEN THE DOOR NOW!"mother screams and she pounds on the door, eventually she break the handle and the door slams open. A knife in her hand.
. . .
A sob breaks out of me in terror. Bringing my knees to my chest I drop me head onto my knees and the tears uncontrollably run down.
Ignoring his shouting, I run to my bathroom and rinse my face and see my eyes are red and my cheeks pink.
If anyone saw me like this, they'd know I was crying.
Wiping my face dry, I walk back towards the living room and open the door, seeing three pissed of men.
Ronan's features soften when he sees my face as does Nathaniel's but not Christian's.
"Have you been crying?" he asks as he pinches his nose in frustration, the other two keeping quiet.
"Yes." I answer once Christian glares at me. I can tell whose the most dominant of the three.
"Why?" he questions taking a seat on the couch as do the others.
"Because of you." I don't hesitate to answer, maintaining eye contact with him as his face drops.
"What do you mean?" he questions and but I don't answer straight away.
"I don't want to tell you." I look away knowing I'm a ting like a brat.
He chuckles in response before his face hardens. "Stop acting like a brat and tell me."
"I don't have to tell you anything, I mean didn't you do the same thing." I say tilting my head to the side a bit, acting innocent.
"Not only did you lie to me about the most important thing about you three. Something that jeopardizes my life, dad's life basically anyone I care abouts life. And you expect me to go running back to your place, perfectly okay with it. Perfectly okay with the fact that you kill people without no remorse. And okay with the fact that if I did something to betray you that you wouldn't do something to hurt me. Hm." Pointing a finger at him.
"You should be grateful I even opened that fucking door and didn't report you. But for all I know you could have someone working for you in the police, right?" Christian's jaw clenches in anger but I don't back down.
"Each one of you are lucky I still like you and like your parents and don't want to ruin then by hurting you three. That I care enough not to go there. But whatever we had is done." Walking to the door when someone grabs me by the throat, knocking the air out of me.
Nathaniel stands before me, his eyes dark."Because we respect you we'll leave but don't think it's going to stay like this forever princess." He squeezes my throat firmly but not to the point where he's choking me.
Quickly placing a hard kiss to my lips He pulls back and they all leave, Ronan hesitating but then sighs in disappointment.
"Don't feel bad, you did the right thing." he murmurs.
I think I messed this one up a bit.
