On the central green, a group of campers was playing basketball.

Most of them were Apollo kids, but Thea could see several others joining as well, one of them being Marielle who must have dropped Jason off with Chiron.

"Apollo's cabin," Annabeth explained to Piper who was watching the game.

"Bunch of show-offs with missile weapons - arrows, basketballs, volleyball, you get the point." The girls walked past a central fire pit, where two guys were hacking at each other with swords.

"Real blades?" Piper noted. "Isn't that dangerous?"

"That's sort of the point," Annabeth said.

"Uh, sorry. Bad pun. That's my cabin over there. Number six."

She nodded to the Athena cabin. It was a grey building with an owl carved into it, and a lot of other detailes that Thea never bothered paying attention to.

They kept walking for a short moment before Thea heard her name being called.

A certain blonde was rushing towards them

"Tic-tac," Marielle said, not even a bit out of breath. "We need you on our team, like right now."

Thea hesitated, looking at Annabeth as if asking her if she could handle Piper the rest of the tour. Annabeth gave her a small smile, nodding her head.

"Let's go beat some ass," Thea said.

Marielle took her arm and dragged her away from her previous task and on to the volleyball field.

"The next good shot wins, and I'm not taking chances here." Marielle explained quickly.

Thea wasn't close to an Apollo kid in any way, but one thing she knew how to do was ball games.

Anything like, basketball, dodgeball, baseball, volleyball, even tennis.

"That's not fair!" Austin, one of the Apollo kids, cried out.

"You can't just go find another player for the last shot."

"All is fair in love and war, Australia. Now get up so that we can finally win this game."

Marielle might've been more laid back than her siblings, but she had a fair share of competitiveness in her blood, something that often showed during camp games.

"So, I get to take the shot, and if I hit, we win?" Thea asked.

"Cause if that's the case we've practically won already."
