While touring the camp wasn't precisely Thea's plan for the day, she tried her best to sound enthusiastic.

It wasn't very convincing, something Piper had caught on to at once.

She was explaining all the things they did as if it was more like a prison - which it was at points.
You couldn't leave unnoticed without someone finding out.
There was quite literally a code for people leaving without parental consent.

How nice for the orphans.

Yet, it was still her home - at least one of them. She was also welcomed into the realm of the dead; to her father's place, but that often got a bit depressing if you stayed for too long. Not to mention her childhood home that still stood standing under her care.
Luckily for her, Mr D and Chiron didn't care much if she left.

She pointed out the open-air dining pavilion and started explaining how annoying it was on rainy days, and then got Annabeth to explain how they'd moved across the country in so little time.
While Annabeth explained the layout of a normal camp day, Thea could tell something was bothering the yet-to-be-claimed demigoddess they were touring.

She didn't ask. It wasn't like the daughter of Hades had any right to ask about someone else's life in such little time after meeting them.

The three girls climbed Half-Blood Hill and turned to see the beautiful view of The Valley - The stretch of woods to the northwest, the beautiful beach that Thea had used to be afraid of.

Oh, how times could change.

There was also a creek that slithered through the forest, the canoe lake, the lush green strawberry fields and each of the cabins arranged to look like a Greek Omega, with the original 12 Cabins around the central green and the two wings of newer cabins sticking out from the bottom on either side.

If Thea ever had to leave camp for good, the view would probably be one of the only things she would miss. The view and her friends - or friend.

In total there were about twenty cabins that were decorated in very different ways depending on the patron.
Cabin one and two looked a lot like banks, Cabin five had a boar head hanging over the cabin door, Cabin seven's cabin walls glowed a golden colour in the sun while Cabin eight glowed a silver colour into the night.

The Hermes cabin looked like it needed some renovating - which was the plan for the future as most of the inhabitants finally got their own cabins and got claimed.

Cabin thirteen looked like it belonged in a nightmare of sorts. The walls didn't look quite solid, but you somehow knew you'd get a concussion if you ran into the hard obsidian walls.
