It was October....Rainy season. And monsoon is little girl's favorite season. She of course wrote few poems dedicated to it. This poem is about the fresh smell of soil which comes from first drops of rain. This is the favorite smell of little. The last stanza of poem also indicate about the rest after hard work. The sleep after worthful hardwork is the best sleep ever.
The Earthy smell
Welcome back the Earthy smell,
For you my nose have fell,
Let me say you one thing, lemme tell,
You indicate the world is fresh and all is well.
The wet and moist soil,
It have a fresh smell which isn't foul,
I crave for hot food fried in oil.
The earthy smell,
Gives the land calmness,
Before which was suffering heat like hell,
You can't buy this pleasure nor sell.
