Little girl ones got 93% in her tests. Her mom wasn't satisfied with it. She felt low due to that as she worked hard yet her mom didn't liked the results. She wrote this poem inspired from that.
Bad marks
Always be a good kid,
Sell your childhood to books,
So they can give you education feed,
But don't enjoy your childhood,
Even though it is one time opportunity and important need.
Don't be real always be perfect,
This is the thing society shouts out,
All want to take your advantage,
Why are you still at that hellish place, GET OUT!
Sometimes to those whom you love,
Make you their crying dove,
I don't want to be engulfed by blue,
I can't do anything else than bottling up my feelings and others won't have a clue.
I know I'm being myself,
If you believe in sacrificing life to be perfect go get help,
I know in terms of being perfect I have bad marks,
Nonetheless instead of being your crying dove,
I prefer being a rare shark.
Things which may not be understandable :
"I don't want to be engulfed by blue"
