"You used to be obsessed with this heist. This heist was YOUR dream!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[Flashback; 5 years ago]
It's been over a few months ever since Carina had left Andrés, all her crew, and her old criminal life behind to start over. Carina, Romeo, and Elena had relocated to Madrid in a little condo building that Carina bought to call their new home.
It wasn't anything extravagant like how Carina was used to with her old life. Instead of being the infamous criminal she was used to for more than half her life, she traded it to be a landlord for her new condo property.
But Carina didn't mind it because all she cared about was her daughter's safety and happiness. And if it meant living a boring normal life, then Carina was more that willing to do it.
As Carina was in the middle of folding laundry in the living room, she heard loud continuous knocks coming from the front doors. She quickly took her butterfly knife and hid it under her sleeve before rushing to answer the door.
Carina peeked through the peephole and found Martín on the other side of the door. She opened the door.
"Martín, what're you doing here? Are you alright?" Carina asked worriedly as she pulled Martin inside her home.
She couldn't help but notice how Martín looked like a mess. She was used to always seeing him in his classy and sophisticated clothing. But now he was wearing clothes that Carina didn't even know he owned. Martín wore black baggy sweatpants, over sized white t-shirt , and bulky sneakers. On top of that, he reeked of strong liquor and cigarette.
"A little mid-life crisis?" Carina tried to joke to ease her friend's mood.
"Andrés left," Martín blurted out.
"What?" Carina furrowed her brows in confusion.
"We got into a little argument and he just left," explained Martín.
"What was the argument?" Carina asked curiously.
From the long time she's known and been friends with both Martín and Andrés, she had never seen them argue.
"It doesn't matter," mumbled Martín as he plopped down on the couch.
Carina sat down beside Martín. She watched as Martín bury his face in his hands. She frowned as she placed a hand on his back, trying to comfort him.
