"I never thought I'd ever be in a position where I feel morally obligated to pick between the two men who I both considered as the love of my life in different times of my life."

Dubai clenched her jaw as she shook her head in disbelief. Gandia had just finished exposing Palermo and revealing how he's captured Tokyo. It all made sense now. With neither her and Berlin being present in the Bank no one was able to control Palermo.

Soon enough, the gang gathered in the room. Palermo's face fell as his eyes went straight to Dubai who he had believed had died. It then went onto Berlin and Owen, causing Palermo to be confused.

Dubai, on the other hand, stared at Palermo in disappointment just like everybody else in the room. Before Palermo could open his mouth to question the situation, the Professor beat him to it.

"Is it true you helped Gandia escape?" the Professor questioned through the radio.

"Yes sir," Palermo answered bluntly.

"And are you aware that he almost killed Nairobi, Helsinki, and Dubai?"

Palermo shook his head, almost in shame. "Collateral damage."

"Collateral damage? You are such a piece of shit," said Nairobi bitterly

Dubai placed a hand on Nairobi's shoulder, trying to calm her down.

"Why the hell did you do that?" Berlin questioned furiously.

"Tokyo staged a coup d'état. You and Dubai left. I felt morally obligated to save the plan. The plan is where my loyalty lies. I had to restore the order that was established because the Professor never relieved me in my position," answered Palermo.

"As a matter of fact, I did. And that has absolutely nothing to do with releasing Gandia," retorted the Professor.

"I had to generate chaos. It was obvious he would go after her. She stole my command," explained Palermo.

"He's full of shit. He was gonna abandon the ship like a rat and he was taking the state secrets," pointed out Denver.

"The child is incorrect," claimed Palermo.

"I stopped you at the door with the briefcase. You were gonna make a deal, you fucker," Helsinki said through gritted teeth.

"I was? With the documents that I stole in my briefcase? It's right there, have a look," challenged Palermo gesturing to the briefcase nearby.
