"They're attacking the bank. The bank is under attack!" Palermo exclaimed, pretending to sound in panic.
The hostages screamed in terror.
"Seal off the building! I repeat, seal off the building!" Palermo shouted in his radio which was connected to the Governor's private escorts.
Dubai simply smirked as she watched the steel doors shut down at the front of the Bank.
She then turned to Tokyo and Nairobi. Tokyo simply gave Dubai a small nod, sort of an unspoken apology for what she had said earlier to Dubai. Dubai returned the gesture. By now, this was the nature of their relationship. But no matter how much Tokyo would piss off Dubai, she will forever consider her as a sister.
"I need you two to get the Governor," Dubai said in a quiet voice.
"You're not coming?" questioned Nairobi.
"I can't. I met the Governor and his head of security before. They're going to recognize me," said Dubai, shaking her head a little.
And on top of that, ever since Dubai's face had been revealed from the Mint heist, her face became one of the most well known in Europe.
"We'll get it done," assured Tokyo.
"Be very careful. His head of security is lethal. If you run into trouble, do no hesitate to call for backup," Dubai warned them sternly.
Tokyo and Nairobi nodded their head.
"Good luck, ladies."
As Dubai watched her friends go off to fetch the Governor, she couldn't help the terrible feeling she has in her gut. She wanted to believe in their capabilities but at the same time she was realistic. And the realistic scenario was that there's a 75% chance they're going to find trouble.
Dubai then remembered the first time she met the Governor and Gandia.
