Dixie's pov:
We are still in Noah's room then the nurse came in with Noah's lunch .
TD: ( pulls a table from behind the bed and puts the tray on it then grabs the remote and starts setting Noah's bed up )
N: ( whines in pain )
TD: it's fine Noah. Now time for food . (looks at Dixie ) it would be uncomfortable for Noah if I fed him, can you please feed him?
D: ofc ( starts feeding him )
TD: that's good , call me when he's done ( gets out )
N: ( slowly eating)
F: auntie Dixie?
D: yes love
F: why are you feeding uncle Noah?
D: because he's sick
F: awwww that breaks my heart
C: baby boy , you can't say anything you hear
F: but that's real . It really breaks my heart to see him like that
Bl: us too buddy
Addi: we should eat lunch too
Ame : let's get something from the cafe downstairs
Addi: I'll go with you , you guys stay here ( goes with Amelie to the cafe)
Br: does it taste good bro ?
N: ( nods his head 'no' )
D: it's okay bubby , you'll eat normal food maybe tomorrow
N: ( smiles at her )
Bl: why is he not talking ?
D: it's so hard for him to talk , it will hurt his chest for something . So he can just talk to the nurse or the doctor
C: but he can talk right?
D: ofc he can char
F: I can talk instead of him , because we can feel each other
C: ( laughs)
D: oh char , how are you and josh doing ?
F: ( sits next to Noah and lays on his lap)
N: ( smiles )
C: ( smiles ) we're okay , we are talking now , he hasn't asked me out yet
Br: do you think he will ?
C: I mean yes
Br: ( says under his breath) I don't think so
F: (looks up at Noah ) can you try to talk ? I miss your voice
D: he can't buddy ( finishes feeding Noah and presses on the button to get the nurse)
TD: ( takes the food and puts the table behind the bed )
F: excuse me?
TD: yes ?
F: when can Noah talk ?
TD: when he gets better ( smiles)
F: when will he get better ?
TD: we don't know , but maybe he will be able to talk tomorrow
F: oh ok ( smiles) thank you
TD: you're welcome ( gets out )
C: oh dix , how's your baby doing?
D: he's literally here ( points at Noah )
C: no ( laughs) I meant the baby in your stomach
D: oh ( laughs) he or she is ok , I don't feel them .
C: how many months are you ?
D: two months
C: when was your last appointment?
D: last week
C: and when is your next appointment?
D: after two months
C: good
Ame/Addi: we're here! ( puts the food on the table)
D: thank you guys
Bl: what did y'all get ?
Ame: Some sandwiches and salads
Br: really ? Sandwiches and salads for lunch?
Addi: like what do you want ? It's a cafe , not a real restaurant
Br: fine ( takes a sandwich and starts eating)
D: ( eating her salad ) wanna taste baby ? There's no avocados in it ( holds the fork to him )
N: ( opens his mouth)
D: ( puts the fork in his mouth)
N: ( eats it and smiles)
D: ( smiles and kisses his cheek )
N: ? Says in a really low voice) I love you
D: ahhhh you did it baby !! You're talking !! ( puts her food on the table and hugs him ) im so proud of you
Bl: what happened?
D: he talked ! He said I love you ( looks at Noah ) I love you so much more bubba (kisses him )
N: ( smiles )
D: Ill get the doctor when I finish my food ( continues eating)
F: ( finishes his sandwich then wipes his hand and mouth then goes to Noah and sits on the bed ) can you say something?
N: ( says really low ) what buddy ?
F: ahhh I love you so much !!! ( hugs him )
N: ( slightly laughs then says ) I love you more
