Dixie's pov:
Something was bothering him, I know it . We arrived at the hospital and went to the reception. We gave them the paper then they told us to follow them . We reached to the laboratory to make the DNA test . Noah on the chair and I woke poppy up . I sat her on Noah's lap then the nurse put the needle in her arm and took some blood from her . Thank goodness she did it cry , she did it even notice what they were doing to her . They put a cotton on her arm then we went back home . Noah went to his office because he has a meeting and I gave poppy a fruit salad .

D: poppy ?
P: ( looks up ) hmm ?
D: do you have a dad ?
P: mhm
D: what's his name ?
P: dada
D: ( sighs ) okay
P: when am I going to see mama ?
D: ( sighs ) idk
P: ( starts crying) I want mama !!
D: ( picks her up ) don't worry , you'll go back to her soon ( rubs her head)
P: no no no ! I w-want her n-now !! ( sobbing)
D: shhhh please calm down ( puts her on the counter and gives her a cup of water) cmon drink it
P: ( drinks it and calms down) I-I want h-her ( starts crying again)
N: ( comes out of his office) what's going on?!
D: she wants her mother ( calming her down )
N: this f*ucking bitch ( goes to the security room and sees the cameras )
D: ( goes to him )
N: look ! ( repeats the video of few hours ago ) that's her car
D: mhm
N: ( starts the video for few seconds then pause it)
D: oh cmon !
N: she's wearing a mask !
D: can you see the car number?
N: no ( restarts the whole video ) there's nothing !!
D: ugh ! ( looks at poppy )
P: ( sleeping )
D: poor kid
N: lay her in the living room and give her a blanket , I'm gonna go to Owen ( goes to Owens room )
D: ( goes to the living room and lays her on the couch then sits next to her)
P: ( lays her head on Dixie's lap while sleeping )
D: ( smiles and strokes her hair )
N: ( comes back with Owen and sits next to Dixie )
D: since she's staying with us for a while, where are we going to keep her?
N: in one of the empty rooms
D: alone ?
N: like what do you want me to do Dixie ? She's not my daughter, why should I care so much about her ? Her mom left her here
D: but Noah she's a kid
N: so ? You want me to adopt her or what ? Dixie I don't even care if she goes to an orphanage .
D: don't you feel bad about her?
N: yeah but I don't have to look after her Dixie
Ow: ( looks at Dixie )
D: you want something baby ? ( picks him up )
Ow: ( taps on her breast )
D: oh you hungry baby ?
Ow: ( keeps tapping on it )
D: okay , love I'm gonna go upstairs to feed Owen , please stay here with poppy ( removes poppy's head from her lap and goes upstairs to Owens room )
N: ( goes on his phone )
P: ( wakes up ) n-nowah ?
N: ( looks at her )
P: I w-want mama ( starts gently crying)
N: ( puts her on his lap ) please don't cry ( wipes her tears)
P: ( lays her head on his chest) I w-want he-r
N: ( sighs )
P: ( plays with his chain )

A week later

Poppy is still in our house and Noah's literally so mad . He's mad because how could someone put their child in front of a random house . Now it's 12 am and me , Noah , Owen and poppy in the living room watching a movie .

N: ( gets a call from the police station) hello..yeah that's me...really?...okay we'll be there soon...thank you ( hangs up ) babe they got the results of the DNA test
D: okay let's go
N: Jenna ! Please stay with Owen
J: okay ( sits next to Owen on the couch)
N: cmon babe

We hurried to the police station and went to the head center office. We sat there and he started talking

Thc: we found the results
D: and what does it say ?
Thc: the mom is Olivia Herbert and the dad is griffin Jonson
D: g-griffin? W-what ??
N: isn't he in jail ?
Thc: no , not anymore
D: o-okay , when are they coming to get her ?
Thc: they are actually here . Officer !!
The officer : yes ?
Thc: please bring griffin and Olivia here
The officer : okay ( walks away )
D: ( holds Noah's hand tight )
N: everything will be fine ( rubs her hand )
Thc: is everything okay?
D: yeah I'm just a little stressed
The officer : ( comes back holding griffin and Olivia)
P: mama!! ( gets out of Noah's lap and hugs her )
Olivia: hey baby ( cant hug her back and crying )
G: ( looks at Dixie ) nice to see you again Dixie ( smirks at her )
D: n-Noah
N: ( puts his arm around her and kisses her head) don't look at him
Thc: griffin Jonson and Olivia Herbert , please tell me why did you put the little girl in front of their house ?
Olivia: ( starts crying hard ) I w-was forced , h-her told me to throw her away but I couldn't , I knew Dixie was his ex and she's an amazing person, so I went their and put her there . It was so hard for me to leave her like that but he said if I didn't he will . Im so sorry
Thc: okay , officers go of her
The officer: ( let go of her hands )
Olivia: ( hugs poppy ) im so sorry baby ! I'm so sorry
Thc: you can leave Olivia
Olivia: thank you so much , and thank you Noah and Dixie for taking canes of my daughter ( leave with poppy )
P: bye bye !
Thc: you too noah and Dixie , y'all can leave
D: a-and what are you going to do with griffin?
Thc: we don't know yet
D: o-okay
N: cmon bubba let's go ( stands up and holds her hand) thank you sir ( walks out of the office)
D: (just walking with Noah )
N: ( unlocks the car and sits in his seat ) baby come here ( pats on his lap)
D: ( sits on his lap)
N: ( hugs her tight)
D: (starts crying)
N: you're alright ( kisses her head )
D: ( wipes her tears with Noah's shirt )
N: ( pushs her on his chest)
D: I love you
N: I love you more , now go back to your seat so I can drive
D: no  I wanna sit here pleaseee
N: fine but be careful
D: okay
