Chapter 21: Grin (Remastered)

After the plan we made, I went to bed and had the most amazing dream ever. I used it as a signal of inspiration for the lyrics I was trying to find for so long. It was handed to me in a very dreamy and special way.

We didn't spend many days thinking about ideas, Because it was easy.
All I had to do was sneak in while everyone was getting glammed up, search for important clues, and leave as fast as I could.

I published my last song and I was already thinking of ideas for my music video.

I typed in ideas for the three songs I did.

I needed to see which of my three songs was the most popular. I hope it's "Slowly falling" I want to film it exactly like the dream. They say the Starsdom crew is insane, That they make really good music videos.

Gosh, I can't wait to start working with them.

Everyone was busy except Clarissa. She was at the lounge in one of the sofas laying upside down. I walked to her and I asked, "comfortable?"
She nodded rapidly and returned to a normal position.
"Being upside down it's perfect to brainstorm ideas. Try it?" She said
"Or to get a headache, I don't think so," I said shaking my head.

She gave me an annoyed look and shrugged.
"Are you looking for Jacks?" she asked in a silly way, tapping her fingers rapidly in my shoulder.
"I don't actually know what he's doing. He just told me he was busy and left" I explained.

She frowned and then smiled unexpectedly, "hey. I have nothing to do, so let's find him" she grabbed my hand and she ran searching for Jacks as she held my hand.

I tried not to fall but her strong grip prevented me. We arrived at the lobby and we saw Jacks talking to the concierge. He looked secretive and the concierge was writing down on his notepad.
"What is he doing?" I asked and Clarissa grabbed magnifying glasses from her purse.

How does she keep all those weird things in her purse?
"Why do you have magnifying glasses in your purse?" I asked and she ignored me. "Is he cheating on you?" She said and I backed away.
"Cheating? We're not together" I said and she just laughed,
"yeah right. So why are you blushing? you must be a little jealous. I mean, Look at him" she pointed secretly at him and he kinda looked our way. Clarissa shrieked and we hid quickly.
"Whew, that was close" she wiped fake sweat off her forehead.
"What was close?" Jacks asked unexpectedly. Clarissa screamed loudly making a few people look at us.
"Jacks, what are you doing here?" She laughed awkwardly.
"I saw Adryan" he looks at me and smiles. I smile back shyly and he laughs.
"Sorry," she said and he shook his head, "it's ok. But don't ever spy on me again, ok? But, love how Adryan spies on me because he misses me" he looked at me. I scratched the back of my head and I tried to talk, "um....that's not...." I was interrupted by Clarissa's loud laughter. She rolled in the ground earning attention from more people.
Why does she always laugh so loudly and exaggeratedly? I got up and I stood there while Jacks stared at me with a small grin that I tried to avoid.

He stood in front of me and grinned, "avoiding me?" He asked and I just stared at his beautiful face. I shook my head and he laughed. Clarissa got up as well,

"I'm hungry" she rubbed her stomach looking exhausted.
"Me too, I'll come with you," I said and I offered Jacks to come with us as well. He said no because he still needed some things to do.

I ate with Clarissa. Jacks ended up joining us an hour later.

Clarissa left.

"It's just us now," Jacks said happily.
"This is what I get for hiding"
"Exactly" he pointed

"I have a surprise planned for you," he said
"Really?"
"I'm not telling you what it is. It's coming...soon"

After eating, He walked me to my room and left.

I was alone. I just sat there humming my new song and typing music video ideas.

It's Wednesday and another day of performing, Also my little mission Which I'm so scared about. Let's hope nothing happens to me.

I was getting glammed up and I was nervous the whole time. Soline and the others talked to me but their conversations faded out.
They finished. The outfit was a grey and white suit, with a parachute strapped on the back with extra straps that covered parts of my arms and legs.

I exited the room with Jacks, Louise, and Clarissa. They wished me luck.

I quickly went to the catering area, then to the area with a huge sign that said:

"restricted"

I jumped the chain that was blocking the entrance, and I walked quietly.
The halls were empty. There was no one there, which is weird.

At the end of the hallway, there was this huge red, two-sided door. Something about it freaked me out, I needed to see what was inside it.

I was going to do it.
I placed my hands on the knob and I opened it slowly. I entered the room and It was all dark red, the walls, the tables, the carpet, everything.

There was this desk with a huge chair facing the other way. I stood there. The chair started turning around and I froze. It revealed a man. long dark hair, full tattooed arms and neck, and he looked very luxurious.

"Well, well, if it isn't the lovely, Adryan Levithan. I may ask, what are you doing in this specific area?" He said. His tone was deep but also raspy and hushed.

"I was strolling around needed to clear my head" I'm so bad at making up lies. Please help me!
"In the restricted section?" He pointed up with his finger.
"A place that wasn't crowded" I added and I knew he didn't believe me.
"We haven't met, I'm Aristotle Steininger, the creator of the show"
