Audrey pov:
I woke up to the sound of the fire alarm going off, and the smell of something burning? Unfortunately I was squashed by Enzo, to be honest he's a pretty good teddy bear. "Huh?" he mumbled."Enzo, move the fire alarm is going off." I yelled in his ear. "Oh la merda-" He leaped up and ran out of my room, I followed him to see what was going on. The kitchen was a nightmare- Turns out Luca, Giorgio and Alessandro tried to make waffles. Lets be honest here, they cannot cook. "IT WAS HIS IDEA!" Luca yelled out pointing at Alessandro, "NO IT WAS HIS!" Alessandro yelled back. "Per favore pulisci questo." Enzo muttered . "I think I lost my appetite." I mumbled. And walked back to my room.

Audrey pov:
I was in the middle of reading my book when Luca walked in, "I'm boreddd." He groaned while fiddling with a hair tie that he'd stolen from me a few days ago. "Hold on, I have an idea." I said smirking. I walked into my bathroom and grabbed my makeup bag, time to give Luca a makeover. "Tada!" I exclaimed, "HOLD UP WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" He screamed.
"Chill, I'm just giving you a makeover." I said holding up my makeup bag. He paused for a moment "okay then." I grabbed some bright red lipstick, unfortunately I had no black lipstick so I couldn't do an emo look. But a clown look would work perfectly fine too. Luca wouldn't stay still for shit, honestly. "Luca stop moving." I hissed. "Are you nearly done? I wanna see." He asked. I nodded, he looked at himself in the mirror and screamed. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!" He screamed, and that was my cue to runnn.
Enzo and Aldo were sitting at the table both focused on their laptops. And Luca was chasing me- How fun! not. "Luca why are you chasing your sister-" Enzo gasped at the sight of him, and Aldo smirked whilst taking a photo."What the fu-" Vincenzo mumbled. "It was Audrey's idea to turn me into a clown!" Luca exclaimed, "well you said you were bored sooo." I shrugged. Just then Dad walked in, he and Enzo exchanged glances. "You know what, I'm not even gonna ask.." He muttered.

Audrey's pov:
I was in the middle of reading a really good smut scene when Enzo walked in my room. "Hey bambina, we're gonna watch a movie do you wanna come watch it?" He asked. I put my book down and shrugged, to be honest I just wanted to continue reading my book- But hey maybe some quality family time will be fun? I followed him out to the lounge room where everyone was, I sat down next to Luca. "So what movie are we watching?" I asked, "the new spider man movie!" Alessandro exclaimed excitedly.
It was only 2pm but I already felt exhausted, and my head was pounding but I was too comfortable to get some ibuprofen or check my blood sugar levels. (ibuprofen is like tylenol for my baddies who arent aussie.) Luca is a really good pillow, just like Enzo is a great teddy bear. My eyes began to feel heavy and I drifted off to a deep slumber.
(Their dad) Sergio's pov:
Enzo had told me about Audrey's nightmare last night, and from what he told me it wasn't just a bad dream. What could've happened to my angioletto? And another question we all wanted to know an answer to was when would she open up? She'd only gotten here almost a week ago, so maybe it was too soon? Or was she scared of how we'd react, I know for sure that I am not going to lose her again...

Luca pov:
"Is she asleep?" Enzo asked. "Yeah she is." I replied. Audrey's head was in my lap, she slept soundly. From what I Enzo told me she was in hysterics last night, I don't know what her nightmare could've been about but I can take a guess.."do you know why she was so upset last night?" Gio asked. (Gio=Giorgio) "No, she didn't tell me." Enzo replied, his eyes trailing off to look at Audrey. "Well, you know on like the first night. She told me that things weren't always easy at home." I said fiddling with the hair band on my wrist, which I'd conveniently stolen from Audrey earlier.
The others exchanged confused looks, "why didn't you tell us dummy?!" Vincenzo hissed. "Jeez, calm down I forgot ok?" I said poking my tongue out at Vincenzo. "Luca, Vincenzo stop bickering please." I heard my father call out from the study. I rolled my eyes at Vincenzo, i swear one day im gonna beat his ass into the ceiling <33. "I'm going to take Audrey to her room ok?" I said. The others nodded.

I carried Audrey to her room and put her down on her bed. Just as I was tucking her in I noticed lines on her upper thighs, these weren't just scratches. They were from her cutting, I felt sick. The cuts didn't look fresh, but they weren't old. My poor sorellina.. What had led her to do this? I kissed her forehead "dormi bene sorellina.." I shut the door quietly behind me.
And walked to the lounge room where the others were gathered. "Luca are you okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost." Aldo said raising an eyebrow at me. I shook my head, Enzo's expression softened "what is it piccolo?" he asked. "I was tucking her in when I saw cuts on her upper thighs.." my voice began to break, they knew that I had struggled with self harm and my mental health around a year ago..I felt hands pull me into a hug, sometimes my brothers were a pain in my ass but I loved them so much I wouldn't trade them for anyone else. "It'll be okay." Enzo whispered. But I could hear the concern in his voice..
