dont come at me for the school name ok i was literally struggling to pick a name, idk if its a real school lmao.My stomach was literally doing somersaults. Why? Because I would be starting at City View Academy today.
My uniform was hanging neatly in my walk-in closet and my bag was by my bedroom door, (pre-packed with Luca's help after last night's mini panic attack.)
It was only five am but I was already awake. Courtesy to the first day jitters.
gotta love those first day jitters BAHAH
um anyways lets say audrey just laid in bed staring at the ceiling for half an hour ok"Squish in people, we need to get a photo! And Vincenzo tuck in your shirt for gods sake." Enzo yelled out. I squeezed in between Luca and Gio, receiving a few glares because of my boney elbows stabbing them in the ribs. It's just sisterly brotherly love. I promise.
"Have a good day bambina, call me if anything happens. Or one of your brothers." Enzo said kissing my forehead. I followed the boys downstairs to the garage and was practically shoved into the middle seat.
Bambina= baby
I followed Luca into the school's reception, the others had just left us. Vincenzo was with some brunette, practically eye fucking her but I decided to act like I didn't see anything.
"Here's your schedule Addi. We have visual arts together." He smiled handing it to me. "Thanks Luca." I said.
um idk abt u guys but i only have 4 periods a day. #slay
My first class was English, something I enjoyed a lot back in Australia. I suppose being with my friends definitely were the highlights of each lesson. I walked into the classroom, a sea of new faces looked up at me. Whispers spread around the room.
"Are you Audrianna Ricci?" The teacher asked. I nodded nervously. "Welcome to City View Academy. You can take a seat next to Laura." She pointed to a girl with freckles and shiny golden hair. Literally the definition of perfect.
I sat down next to her, waving awkwardly. "Is this your first day?" She asked. "Mhm, it is." I replied. "Oh! You must be nervous, don't worry I was too. You can sit with me and my friends at lunch if you want." Laura offered. "I would love that, thank you." I said.
The rest of the lesson moved along slowly, Laura told me about the school's history and a bit about herself. One thing I knew for sure was. She was definitely an extrovert.
Laura and I both had gym together in period two, in the changing rooms I did get a few odd looks though. Maybe because they've never seen someone with an omnipod before?
um we literally dont have like cafeterias here in aus, we just eat lunch anywhere. (outside classrooms, the oval, you get what i mean.) we do have like a canteen where u can buy food but thats abt it..
"You're a pretty good at basketball, you could join me on the team." Laura suggested as we walked to the cafeteria. "It sounds cool, but I would have to ask my dad." I smiled.
As I followed Laura to where her friends were sitting I saw Alessandro running up to me. "I was looking for you!" He exclaimed. Laura looked slightly confused. "Sorry." I murmured. Before he could say anything more, a group of his friends walked past. "Into younger girls now are we?" One of them snickered. I watched Alessandro's face go from neutral to pissed. "She's my sister you asshole." He spat.
Alessandro looked like he was out for blood, I literally had to tell him that they weren't worth his time. Some friends he has.
Laura introduced me to her friends, August and Hazel. I was glad it wasn't a huge group. As fun as they are they can turn out pretty chaotic..(from experience of course)
I had math last, luckily it's a subject I enjoy. I didn't have math with Laura. But she was in the class across the hall. For my first day at a new school I think it went pretty well, compared to how it could've gone.
I walked with Hazel outside to the car park where Alessandro said they'd be. She was in the middle of telling me how her little sister had taken a pack of condoms to show and tell when I saw him. Atlas Andris.
"I'll see you tomorrow Audrey!" Hazel said as she got in her dad's mercedes. I waved at her and made my way over to where Luca and Atlas were. "Hey Addi! How was your day?" Luca beamed. "It was actually pretty good." I answered.
I followed the boys inside, Enzo was sitting at the kitchen island squinting at his laptop. Further down the hall I heard voices, one was Aldo's and the other voice sounded more feminine. One I couldn't seem to match a face to.
"Helloo boys, and Audrey." She smiled as Aldo followed her into the kitchen. "Oh hi." I murmured. How did she know my name? Who was she?
She must've noticed my confusion, "oh, I'm Mariana! Aldo's fiancé if you were wondering preciosa." Why hadn't I met her earlier? It would've been nice to have another female around, the testosterone is driving me crazy. "Nice to meet you." I smiled.
preciosa= gorgeous
I plopped onto the couch next to Luca, he and Gio were playing cod. Both of them cursing in both English and Italian. Switching between each language every few words. And Vincenzo was talking to some girl on his phone.
"So, why wasn't Mariana here when I first came to live with you guys?" I asked. "Oh uh- we thought it'd be easier for you to settle in." Luca shrugged.
I rolled my eyes. These boys have brain cells, why not use them? Or maybe they don't."How was your first day tesoro?" Dad questioned as he walked in. "It was good, I actually wanted to ask you something." I grinned. "Of course, what is it?" He inquired. "Could I join the basketball team?" I begged hoping he would say yes. "Sure I don't see why not." Dad nodded. As he left the room, Vincenzo remarked "better than the cheer team at least." Earning a glare from Gio.
