Chris was the perfect guy. Incredibly smart, caring, social, attractive, friendly, respectful, strong, always on time, and all around perfect. He had the perfect family and perfect relationship, his family was well off, he was an only child, and had two 'perfect' parents and his 'girlfriend' was head cheer leader and super popular and beautiful. Everyone loved him, he was the kid parents compared there kids to, the boy every girl wanted, the man any guy would want to be. He was all around perfect.... Except for one thing...... He had a boyfriend . His 'girlfriend' wasn't actually his girlfriend, she was his best friend and one of the only one who knew of his relationship. She agreed to be his cover up so no one got suspicious. If his parents found out, they'd kill him. Despite them being 'perfect' they were very homophobic. Chris knew he'd get disowned if they found out so he never told them since he knows he'll never be accepted....

Karl was the opposite of Chris. Not a complete opposite but he definitely wasn't seen as perfect. He acted up, pretty dumb, was somewhat kind, disrespectful, physically weak, always late or never showed up, and all around was seen as a 'problem child'. His home life wasn't any better. He was born when his parents were 16. Despite them still being together they obviously hate each other. Karl's parents are abusive and constantly fight. His life was hell with nothing good..... except for one thing..... he had a boyfriend. Despite all the pain he goes though, it's worth living if it means he gets to sneak out and be with that boy. He's helped Karl a lot and he couldn't be more thankful. He may know his life is hell but he knows it'll get better one day....

Chris pov (7pm)

"It was lovely seeing you again Katie" my mom said happily. Katie had come over for dinner and was getting ready to leave.

"Thank you miss, it was lovely seeing you guys to" Katie said cheerfully, with a smile.

"I'm so glad you found such an amazing girl" my mom said looking at me. She'll be devastated when she learns the truth.

"He obviously would, he's are son after all" my dad joked causing my mom to roll her eyes and nudge him. They were good parents, well despite the homophobia thing...

"Well, we should head out, it's getting late" I said walking to the door. We said are good byes as me and Katie left. I was walking her back to her house since we lived in a small town. "You know, you should become an actor" I joked once we were away from my house. Katie laughed slightly.

"Why, because I'm good at lying" she said and joked. "Because if that's the case, then you'd get the lead role". We both laughed and she continued. "I seriously don't get how your able to fake being straight".

"Hey, it's not like I'm gay" I joked.

"Yea, your half gay"' Katie said and joked "probably more like 3/4 though".

"Hey I prefer girls" I defended. "He's just.. different".

"He definitely is" she said. Katie's one of the only ones who knows me and Karl are dating. According to anyone else we hardly know each other. "He's got 'mr. Perfect' acting up just to be with him" she said sarcastically. I nudged her slightly as she laughed.

"Well 'mr. Perfect' thinks he's worth it" I said In the same tone. After that we had gotten to Katie's house. She lived pretty close since it was a small town.
