"Baiwen, where are those reports about the disruption of waters around the Pearl Galley?, I need them now.", I was in a rut, there had been many complaints about several shipments getting tossed overboard, small ships sinking because of the more than normal waters recently.

It's been months of trying to solve this problem, none of the investigations leading to a conclusion.

"Lady Ningguang, we have received a tip!", Baiwen eagerly rushed through my office, holding handful of papers.

"A tip?, What is it?"

"I have received information from our informant that Captain Beidou may know a thing or two about what's causing our waters to be disruptive."

And she didn't even think to tell me?, I sent messages to every captain to report if they had a lead. Why would she keep this to herself?

"Find me Beidou."

"ahh the Tianquan, nice of you to join me for a drink", Beidou brought the brim of the wine glass to her lips.

"Captain Beidou, certainly", I took a seat beside her, ordering a glass of wine from the passing waiter.

"Now, now, the Tianquan actually wants to have a drink with me?", Beidou turned to me, a playful smile playing at her lips.

"You invited me, of course I should accept"

"I presume you want something from me, my lady?", Beidou cocked her head at Ningguang, inching closer to her.

Ningguang turned to the captain. Their faces even brought closer.

"What do you have for the investigation?"

"So that's why you're here, I'm hurt, Ning, and I thought you really were here to come see me", Beidou faked a sad face, putting a hand over her heart.

Ningguang furrowed her brows at Beidou.

"What will you do for it?"

"What do you mean, what I'll do for it?", Ningguang said slowly.

Beidou grasped her chin, inching her face to look up at her.

"I asked you, Lady Ningguang, what will you do for it?"
