Beidou

It's been two weeks since I've held Ningguang.

I've been going back and forth to Inazuma, exporting fireworks from Naganohara Fireworks for this year's Lantern Rite.

Every single day, the storms gets a bit more threatening, more dangerous than normal. I spotted Beisht, an ancient god, wife of the defeated Osial. I'm pretty sure she had been causing these downpours and was going to attack Liyue Harbor soon to avenge her fallen husband.

"Furong, stop at the harbor.", I ordered him, I needed to see Ningguang.

Not just for the sake of seeing her, of course, but mainly because of the fate of Liyue Harbor.

I entered the Jade Chamber, it still never fails to awe me everytime I come.

"Captain Beidou!, what brings you here?", Baishi said, her secretary who has an annoying crush on my woman.

"I need to speak to Lady Ningguang, it's urgent."

"Oh!, I'll announce you right away", Baishi disappeared into the corridors and into Ningguang's office.

After a while, Baishi told me it was okay to go and Ningguang was expecting me.

"So? What have you found, my captain?"

I told her everything about the torrential downpours, the unusual behaviours of the birds at sea, and how I've spotted Beisht. I warned her that she was probably coming to Liyue Harbor to avenge her husband.

We devised a plan to defeat the ancient beast, and send it away.

"Let's hope this works", Ningguang sighed and sealed the envelope, containing orders for the milelith and the Liyue Qixing to carry out.

She called Baixiao into the room and ordered her to hand out copies of the orders. Baixiao hurriedly took it and ran out of her office.

"So, how have you been?", I asked her rather awkwardly, filling the silence in the room.

"I've been well, you?", Ningguang folded her arms, looking at me covertly.

"I'm doing good", and the awkward silence fell upon us again.

Do I say it?
