Beidou

"Muzhen!, anchor the ship, we stop here.", I ordered him.

It's been a week since I've been back in Liyue. I'm so excited to see Ningguang again.

"Ahh, it feels good to be back home again", I stretched out my body, arriving at the shore.

"Captain Beidou, what business do we have here?"

"Kazuha, we're going to report to the Liyue Qixing and we're here to do work for the Feiyun Commerce Guild."

I had adopted Kazuha into the fleet, when I first met him, he was too devastated from the loss of his friend that he wouldn't talk to anyone.

Eventually, he opened up and was quite chatty, penning haikus and reading them to me. He was a great addition to the crew, the more the merrier.

All of a sudden, I heard a woosh of water from a waverider in the distance. I squinted my eyes to look at it closer.

"Is that Ningguang?"

"It is!"

Turns out it really was my lady. She came with a fiery red-haired man, Diluc.

Apparently he was the owner of the Dawn Winery. I couldn't deny that I was an avid fan of their alcohol, having the chance to visit Angel's Share in my time in Mondstadt.

He was a bit appealing to the eye, I hope not too appealing that he can grab the attention of my lady though.

"Here is my business partner and friend, Captain Beidou of the Crux Fleet.", Ningguang introduced.

Friend.

Friends didn't fuck each other.

"Nice to meet you, Captain Beidou, I've heard many stories of you from Ningguang", Diluc extended a hand to me.

I took it and shook his hand out of politeness.

"Sooo, Ning over here—"

"Lady Ningguang", Ningguang interrupted me.

So with this drunk winery guy, she allowed to drop formalities and the woman she slept with, it was 'Lady Ningguang'.

I narrowed my eyes at her. "So, Lady Ningguang has told you stories about me, I hope not bad ones", I laughed, though my eyes clearly did not show laughter.

"Oh I promise you, it was all good ones.", Diluc chuckled.

I introduced the pair to Kazuha, and invited them both to my ship. It was sundown and different hues of orange and pink painted the sky.

This is why I loved the being at sea, though we are docked at a beach right now. You can always clearly see the sunset reflecting on the water, making it sparkle a bit, leaving a beautiful view that stretches over the horizon.

"Lady Ningguang!, how honored we are to have you at our ship today, are you to join our festivities tonight?", My crew welcomed her.

"Yes, I am going to with my esteemed guest, Diluc Ragvindr of Mondstadt.", Ningguang smiled at them.

How I wish she would smile at me like that too.

"Please!, take a seat Lady Ningguang"

Ningguang and Diluc took a seat and made small talk with the crew.

The ship was filled with music and festivities. We usually did this after a successful trip.

"Ha!, I win, now you have to drink the whole cup, Ning", I pointed at her laughing, I was tipsy, close to being drunk, but tipsy nonetheless.

Ningguang chugged the cup filled with beer down, crushing the cup in her hands.

"I said to call. me. Lady. Ningguang."

"Hereee we go again with the formalities", I grabbed a drink and gulped it down as well.

We played a few more rounds of Beer Pong until we were beat and headed to my cabin.

"I-I'll take care of m-my lady, you guys goooo on there, I c-can do this", I stumbled across the deck, the slight swaying of the ship not helping my balance.

Diluc, on the other hand returned home after things started to get a little bit out of hand, excusing himself to return back to his hotel.

Ningguang tried to come with him too, but I persuaded her to stay. I have gone too long without seeing her, I can't just have her gone again, I need to see her face a bit longer.

I carried Ningguang to my cabin, one arm encircling her waist and her arm draped over my shoulder to keep her steady.

I slammed the door shut behind us, still carrying Ningguang.

I carried her to my bed, but before I can set her down, she pulled me down to the bed, my back hitting the soft mattress.

"why'd you drag me downnn Ning?"

I slowly sat up on the bed, without noticing the platinum-haired beauty had already positioned herself on my lap, straddling me.

"B-Beidou, I m-missed you", Ningguang held my face in her palms.

She leaned down and for the second time, we kissed.
