Ningguang

I breathed out a sigh of relief, our plan actually worked.

The traveller and Shenhe chased it off and injured it enough to not visit the harbor again. Everything was finally now in place and my biggest headache is finally solved.

I returned to the harbor and checked to see if any of the Milelith and the Crux Fleet were injured, to my relief, only minor injuries were sustained. I had them brought to Bubu Pharmacy right away.

After checking them, I ran straight away to find Beidou.

I saw her chatting with Ganyu and Keqing, they were congratulating each other for their hard work. I decided not to join in on them, I didn't want Beidou's mood to become sour after she sees me.

As long as she's okay.

It's been two weeks since the disaster happened and Liyue was back on track, businesses started opening five days after the attack, damages were repaired and the ones injured started recovering as well.

I still haven't seen Beidou since. I can tell she's been avoiding me like the plague. When we had a meeting, she would sit at the farthest seat from me, when I would go shopping for new trinkets and we would happen to pass by each other, she would hasten her steps and plant her eyes to the ground.

I tried speaking to her multiple times before but she would shun me away everytime I had attempted it. I don't know how to make it up to her and I was losing my mind.

It was a good thing I had a distraction this week, it was the opening of Angel's Share's branch in Liyue. Everybody in Liyue had been anticipating it's opening and it was a good week away from the Lantern Rite, a festival where no one in Liyue would dare to miss.

The festivities had started to become evident in Liyue, more stalls were opening up and multiple devices that would set off the fireworks were in place all over the nation. The Liyue's Qixing's hands were full at the moment.

The near opening of Angel's Share contributed to the increasing crowd in Liyue, rumours of me and Diluc also being present in the opening event gave a fair share of excitement throughout Liyue.

Many residents from several nations came to enjoy the festival, most hotels being fully booked out because of the Lantern Rite.

I entered the back entrance of the bar, Diluc was inside, ordering workers to put things in the right places.

Today was Angel's Share's soft launch, I came here a bit early and people weren't filling up the place yet, only exclusive guests were chosen to attend this event.

"Hey!, be careful of that wine, it's expensive", Diluc yelled at the worker across the room who was handling the drink quite roughly.

"Diluc, it's good to see you again", I bowed at the red-headed male, who seem startled to see that I was here.

"Oh, it's you, Ningguang, I'm glad to see you too"

"Without your help, this would be all impossible", Diluc thanked me.

"Give yourself some credit too, we both did a great job"

He gave me a quick tour of the place, before excusing himself.

I sat at a nearby table, lookin at the menu. Suddenly, a blue-haired man entered the place, looking around. He scanned the room, and once he did, he set his eyes upon me.

"Are you perhaps, Lady Ningguang?"
