Beidou
I stood in front of the doors of the Jade Chamber once again. I haven't been here in a while, the building was as impressive as it was, with the fresh air and the bustling city of Liyue right below.
"Captain Beidou!, what brings you here?", one of Ningguang's secretaries asked me.
"I'm here to return something of hers.", I gestured to the purse in my hand.
"Oh you can just give it to me, I will bring it to her for you.", Her secretary said, trying to pry the purse off me. I immediately pulled it back gently.
"It's okay, I can bring it to her, now if you mind.", I walked past her and into the building, taking myself to Ningguang's office. I find myself taking a deep breath before knocking on her door. I don't know how I'm going to speak to her.
"Yes?, please come in.", Ningguang spoke through the door.
I opened the door and let myself into her office. She didn't bother to look up.
"Ningguang, you left your purse last night."
Only to the sound of my voice did she notice that I was here. She stopped doing what she was doing and turned her full attention to me. She looked at the purse in my hand before bringing it up to look at me again.
"Oh, I was wondering where it was all night, thank you for bringing it back."
I placed her purse on her table and turned to leave.
"Do you want to have breakfast with me?", She stopped me. I looked back at her, she was anticipating my answer, looking at me expectantly.
"Sure, I'll have breakfast with you."

We sat at the dining table in comfortable silence, though the atmosphere wasn't heavy unlike the night before. Her servers were placing food around the table, setting up my cutlery for me. Ningguang sure did live a life of luxury and rightfully so, she worked hard for it. One of the many things I liked about her.
We made small talk but always soon fell into silence. Ningguang was silently playing with her food, she looked like she had a ton in her mind. I chose not to bring our situation up, I didn't want this morning to be sour nor I didn't want to break the comfortable mood we established.
"I thought about what you said."
