Kendra's POV•

"Great,everything is settled Ken"Jacob ended his call regarding me,i just nodded getting up

"Will you be kind enough and Get me a scissor"he takes one out of the drawer handing it to me"thanks i'll be out in a couple"i said closing the door behind me.

As i stared into the mirror every possible memory i have of her,either playing with my locks,or scolding me for not putting much effort into making them look presentable,i chuckled acknowledging that i looked more like homeless than attractive,but she still admired me whenever she had the chance. The way she'd sometimes hit me with them if i made her too shy,or possibly aroused by my actions.

My grip tightened on the sink before me,my emotions are out if order and i don't like it not one bit. I quickly dripped chunks of my hair and chopped them off. A new start means a new look.

Jacob gasped as i walked out of the bathroom"fireplace now"he lead me to the back of the house and i threw my hair into it,watching it mix with the aches of burnt wood. I needed to make sure any trace of me was nowhere to be found.

"You okay there"he asks bringing me out of my trance

I nod at him"we better get going if we wanted to set the record straight"i said calmly walking past him and he followed suit

"Mother im aware they've filled you in on what i've done and decided,the police has a sketch but it looks nothing like me at least not bald headed. So don't stress up on it"i assured her since she was worried and against it, right when i got into her office

"Oh dear easier said than done"she says sipping her alcohol to ease her nervous

"It's already settled and done mom they have no records of me, so don't worry,i technically vanished for three years the hiding must come to an end"i held her hands in mine"you know what's keeping me alive still"

"Be more specific Kendra"she retorted

"It's you,her,and other individuals"she smiles at me

"You really do love her,don't you?"She asks sitting next to me

"I've never felt how i felt with anyone but her,and i really... miss her"i didn't notice my tears until she wiped them away caressing my cheek,i sighed managing a"thank you mom"

"Your my daughter id do the impossible for you,now don't keep them waiting"she said hugging me before pulling away as she sniffles

"Even though i don't say it quiet frequently,but I love you old lady"

"I love you more darling"she blows me a kiss and i walk out of her office and soon the building.

"Evening. Jonathan was it?"i said taking a seat before him

His forehead creased"who are you,how did you get in her,you cant barge in like you own the god damned place"his tone raised in annoyance so why not get him pissed off more

"Simple i walked in,to answer your first one im someone you better not meet again,for the sake of your worthless life,start choosing your words wisely Jon"i watched him as he shifted in his chair

"Nothing much you could provide,though i know you've been jumping around to catch a ghost for the past five years. Only to fail countless times"He sighs gritting his teeth with a flexed jaw
