Corrina's POV

"Bye Trinity. I'll be home at three thirty. Love you." I told my small black kitten as she strolled over to her food bowl as I was leaving my house to get to school. I closed the door behind me and locked it before heading on my way. I took in a deep breath as I walked along the path through the forest to my hell hole of a high school. I went to Amber Woods Private Academy were if you went there you were either very wealth or had the grades to make the scholarship. The Fons family is the third wealthiest family in Japan but I had the rest of my family still in America and I missed them. My parents, Sean and Selena Fons, wanted me to have a better education so when I was five they had me move here and study. I could still speak English but Japaneese felt better since I had to learn it so young.

I rounded a courner out of the forest and came across the large stone wall that kept my home under high tech protection and intruders out. Two, Zero, Two, Four. I told myself once again as I tapped the key pad and a little click went off from the heavy metal door next to me. I quickly grabbed the handle and yanked the door open before I had to do the code again. I stepped onto the sidewalk outside the barrier and headed down the block to my school. I finally arrived at the bottom of the hill and scanned my Student ID at the front gate before the glass door slid open and i went into my still quiet school. I always arrived twenty minutes early before school started so I could get my books and take care of the class plants in my homeroom.

I easily found my locker and changed into my school shoes before heading to my locker for my morning books. I did the same routine every day and I was pround of it. I never got in trouble. I was gifted with smart genes and my parents were proud of me. Sure they would act like I was a digrace but that was only becuase of my Supernatural side. I finished grabing my books and walked up the three flights of stairs to my homeroom class with ten minutes to spare. I opened the sliding classroom door to find I was the first one here. What a shock. Our homeroom teacher was always late to her classes in the morning. Not like any of us minded or anything. I put my bag on the small hook on the side of the last desk on the window side and then headed over to the long counter behind me.

I filled up the small metal watering can and poured some on the four plants on the counter. As I finished and put the watering can away, a small tapping sound came from the window. I looked over at it and I rolled my eyes. I quickly pushed the window open and two animals flew at me. Rica, the runt of a red panda family that lived in my forest, and Fredrick, a large brown owl, rested on me. "What are you two doing here?" I asked them. Rica scampered up to my right shoulder and nuzzled my cheek with hers. "We slept in and didn't get to take you to the gate this morning." She told me in a sweet squeeky voice. Fredrick nodded and i let out a long sigh. "You two should get back home before anyone else comes into the classroom. I don't want another scene like last time." I told them and pinched the bridge of my nose lightly. "Alright, but tighten those little pigtails again after we leave." Rica ordered me as she hoped off my shoulder and onto my desk, landing gracfully. I gently stroked Fredrick's brown feathers and he nodded curtly.

My two friends from the forest went back out the way they came without another word. I put my hands to my small pigtails and shook my head. I went to the bathroom across the hall and looked at myslef. Light brown eyes? Check. Secured mini pigtails? Check. No animal hair on my face or uniform? Check. I passed my inspection of myself and then puased. I felt like something was wrong. I knew I should trust my insticts but it's not like I was going to jump out the window on a little suspision. I straightened out my black and white lined short skirt and then checked my black knee socks. After brushing off my white and black lined school skirt and black vest I ran my fingers through my long blonde locks.

I returned to my homeroom to see a few other boys and girls had arrived. They all flashed me a glance before continuing their conversation. I froze up on the inside and my head dropped so my bangs covered my face. I quietly walked over to my seat and then thought about something. I looked in my bag and smiled inside my mind. I pulled out a small clear vase with a delicate white flower stayed in. I set it on the middle of my desk as a cloud parted from the sun and beamed down onto my desk. I sighed and twirled my finger at it gently. More students filled the room so the class quickly filled with noise. The bell rang and I felt that pang in my stomach once again. Oddly enough the door opened with a loud clang and everyone rushed to their seats, also surprised to see the teacher on time today.

Miss. Ichi walked into the classroom and over to her podium in the front of the class. "Good morning, Miss. Ichi!" The class rang. I felt like a homing beckon in my stomach but put on my steel face and acted like I was bored as usual. "Class, we have a new student joining today. His name is Oliver Wright and I would like you all to make sure his time here at school be a pleasent experience." Miss. Ichi told us and waved her hand at the still open door. As the silent footsteps of Oliver Wright filled the room my stomach did a flip. Oliver turned to face the class with a smirk on his face. "My name is Oliver Wright and i'm looking for a new girlfriend!" He annonced. The girls suddenly shot out of their seats and ran over to Oliver. The only girl still in her seat was me. I just stared at my flower like I didn't care. Inside my mind was whirling with all different questions about this guy. Who was he? Why did I feel so terrible until I met him?

The class settled down after a few minutes of scolding from Miss. Ichi and finally class started. Oliver had, unfortunetly, the desk next to mine and classes went on as usual. I could feel a pair of eyes on me for most of the day but didn't want to find the source of the feeling. I was shy around people. When I talked to animals I was bright and open but around humanity the world seems to cave in around me. One of the reasons why I had asked my dad for a forest around my home in the first place.
