(Inside Corrina's Mind)

I blinked and looked around. I was in a small meadow of white flowers and ebony trees with white petals and the sun was setting in an ember glow. I suddenly felt something stir beside me and I looked down. There was a small girl sleeping next to me. A slight greenish tint to her long hair and her long eyelashes started fluttering. The girl sat up and looked around, big brown eyes looking at me sleepily. "Go back to Oliver, Corrina. I'll see you again when I grow up more." The girl said quietly and I suddenly felt sleepy. I nodded and slowly lay back down onto the imprint I had made. The little girl snuggled up to my side and I closed my eyes again and slowed my breathing. The world slowly went black and I fell asleep again.

Oliver's POV

I pounded on the metal door with my head and tried to remember the damn code I had seen Corrina open the door with. Was it one, one, seven, zero? Or one, one, zero, seven?! Ugh you know what! I'm doin' both! I gently laid Corrina on the ground, back against the wall, and typed in the second code I had come up with. The door clicked and I smiled and opened it. I kept my foot on the inside of the door and dragged Corrina over to me, before picking her back up and running along the path to her house. What happened to her?!

I shuffled among her pocket carefully and pulled out her house key and stuck it in the lock carefully. I opened the door wide and walked inside, my eyes widening with shock. There was a short girl with long black locks and matching cat ears and tail. "What took you-!" The girl started yelling and turned around and stared at me, frozen in place. She looked me up and down and her purplish- grey eyes widened further when they saw the beat up Corrina in my arms. She ran at me with great speed and pulled me through the house, up the stairs, and into a small dark bedroom. "Lay her there and then come with me." The girl commanded. I sat Corrina down and shook my head.

"I'm not going anywhere until she's awake. Talk to me here, I don't care, I just need to be here when she wakes up." I straightened and gave the girl a hard killer glare. The girl paused but finally nodded. I pulled the desk chair over to the side of the bed and sat down and watched Corrina's slow breathing. After about ten minutes of silence and finally brimming with annoyance as the girl continued to stare at me intently. "I have a mark too." I said through clenched teeth. "What color?" The girl asked. "I'll tell you what color when you at least tell me your name and your own." I told the girl harshly. I was seriously getting annoyed now! "Trinity and black. Your turn." Trinity replied shortly. I turned to her, my eyes slightly widening. "Then you were that cat yesterday."

Trinity nodded and I looked back at the still sleeping Corrina. She looked so perfect when she slept. Except for those damn bruises! I'm going to kill whoever did this to her! "Your mark color?" Trinity asked again. "Red. It's on my shoulder." "What of?" Trinity asked. "Claw scratches. I haven' had my Ceremony Bestia yet." I replied hotly. WHAT WAS THIS TWENTY QUESTIONS?! Suddenly we heard a door bang closed and a girl yelling. "I saw the boy and Trinity! What the hell is going on?!" "Calm down Rica. You'll just stir the pot more." "Shut up Fredrick! No one asked you!" The girl named Rica screamed at the boy Fredrick. Footsteps pounded up the stairs and a girl with bright red hair and a small black outfit looked through the door with fire in her eyes.

As Rica's mouth was opening, Trinity held out her arm in front of the girl and sent her a glare. "He's one of us. Corrina was beaten and he brought her here. Keep your voice down please." Rica's mouth closed and she strolled over to the end of the bed. "I'll go get the first aid kit!" Fredrick called as he raced from the scene to hunt down the medicine. "This is such a pain in the ass..." Rica mumbled. She then turned to me. "Do you have any idea who could have done this?" She asked, walking over to me, a pained expression on her face. I shook my head side to side and looked back down at Corrina. You could slightly see the black and blue along her lower body and the bruised cheek didn't help her in the least.

"I'm back!" Fredrick called and handed the first aid kit to Trinity. "OK now out boys. Rica and I can take it from here. We'll let you know when you can see her again." Trinity said as she shooed the boys out of the bedroom and out into the hallway. She closed the door and left the two boys standing awkwardly in the hallway. "So... Do you have your animal yet?" I asked Fredrick. His face lit up slightly as he leaned against the wall opposite of me. "Yea. I have an owl. My mark's green and on my back. I have little wings but I cover them with my jacket." He explained. I nodded and wished the girls would pick up the pace. There was silence for about another twenty minutes until finally Rica opened the door and allowed the boys to come in. Apparently the girls had taken so long because they changed Corrina's outfit for her.

A loose black crop top and light blue spandex that fit her curves perfectly made you see that her entire lower half of her back, sides, and stomach were now wrapped up and so was her cheek, covering the bruise. "Luckily she didn't bleed while being kicked and punched around." Trinity began. "I really want to know who did this to her. Tell us when she wakes up." She walked out of the room with Rica and Fredrick behind her. I closed the door and sat back in my chair from before and just examined her features in the moonlight.
