(Corrina's outfit on the day the class leaves for the beach trip.)

Corrina's POV

Finals had ended today and thing had went pretty well since Hana beat me up. She was still fawning over Oliver, but I didn't mind. He always looked like everything about her made him annoyed and I was strangely glad. Oliver and I held hands to and from school every day and since we had the same study hall period we once fell asleep under a tree next to each other and holding hands again. I had just walked through my house door when My friends broke the news to me. "I know it's my birthday that week, but I just have to go! Oliver will be there and-." "Corrina, the fact that this is your birthday means you cannot GO!" Trinity yelled at me. I winced slightly at her harsh tone. "But I at least want to spend one of my birthdays outside before I can't go to school anymore!" I whined. "Corrina," Fredrick interjected with a sad expression on his face. "We all had to do the same thing." "Then you know what's it's like to want to spend that one day out with your friends!" I stomped my feet on the ground like a child.

"Since when do you have friends Corrina?" Rica asked snidely. I narrowed my eyes at the bright red head. "Stop it you two!" Trinity yelled out and everyone turned to the black haired girl. She pinched her fingers on the bridge of her nose and let out a deep sigh. "You can go on the trip as long as the three of us gets a rental house very close by. Understand?" Trinity gave in. I squealed and threw my arms around the small twenty-two year old's neck. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I said excitedly. "Not in the ears!" Trinity howled. I let the girl go and ran upstairs to find the rental house my friends would be staying at. After a few hours of searching and calling a bunch of people, I finally got a house rented that was only a five minute walk from the hotel. Nice and close! I'm so glad I get to go to the beach! I need to figure out what to pack now!

After packing a some swim suits, shorts, sweatpants, jeans, shirts, sunscreen, sunglasses, underwear, and a few essentials; The sun was setting and I had to start dinner. I told everyone all the information about the house and it's features so they wouldn't worry and question me about everything. "So have you and Oliver kissed yet?" Rica suddenly asked. I started choking on the white rice I had been eating. "R-Rica! Don't bring that up at dinner! You'll kill the girl!" Fredrick stammered out as Trinity helped me drink some water and regulate my breathing again. Rica was grinning from ear to ear. "Is that a yes or no?" "No Rica you-! Dammit!" I yelled at the girl. Rica started laughing and knocked herself to the ground, chair and all. "Rica you're acting like a child." Trinity told the sprawled girl on the floor with a bored tone.

"Oh I know you wanted to know as well Trinity! You told me this morning." Rica laughed out. Trinity was immediately on defense. "I-I DID NOT! Rica you bastard!" Trinity was beginning to turn red. Fredrick and I sighed as Trinity kept yelling at Rica, who was still rolling around a laughing. Fredrick helped me with the dishes and everything finally calmed down and the four of us watched an old anime that was playing on TV. I went to bed at around twelve thirty and I couldn't sleep. I wanted to call Oliver but I didn't want to disturb him if he was sleeping. I couldn't stop thinking about this trip! I would finally have a birthday outside and in the real world, with friends! Even though Oliver's still my only friend still, but I felt alive. I closed my eyes once again and fell asleep. I wanted tomorrow to come so bad!

I woke up to my alarm clock buzzing the most annoying sound in the world. I opened my eyes and slammed my hand over the alarm, to which it stopped buzzing. I flung myself out of bed and got dressed in the outfit I had laid out the night before. I pulled on a pair of short green shorts, a long concrete white and pink sweater, black knee-high socks, and my dark blue backpack before heading downstairs. "Good morning Corrina. You need to eat breakfast before you go on the long trip to the beach." Fredrick greeted me as he slid the last of two chocolate chip pancakes onto a plate. They were my favorite breakfast food so naturally I tackle hugged Fredrick before digging into the food. "I smelled something good..." Trinity mumbled through a yawn. Her eyes widened at the sight of the pancakes. I smiled. I had passed on my love for chocolate chip pancakes to my friends when I was little.

Rica joined us later in the breakfast and after about half an hour later my watch started beeping. "Oh! I better get going. I was supposed to meet Oliver in front of the school so we could get a seat on the boss next to each other." I told everyone and started towards the door. "Corrina!" I turned around to my three smiling friends. "Have fun and call us if you ever need anything." Trinity told me. I smiled and ran back over to the table and hugged each one of them tightly. "Thanks guys!" I ran back over to the door and put on my brown moccasins before heading out the door and down the familiar dirt path to the gate. I entered in the code and ran out the door. I tried to run a little, but obviously lost my breath quickly in the process. The partly cloudy day and seventy-three degree temperature made the rest of the walk to school all the better. When I went through the gates of school, I spotted Oliver talking to the three all to familiar girls.

As I neared Tora turned around with a yawn and started walking away from her friends. She walked passed each other and a strange feeling washed over me. I continued walking, but that feeling struck me like lightning. Why does Tora seem so... odd? "Oh hey Corrina!" Oliver sucked me out of my thoughts. Hana and her green haired friend both turned from Oliver and sent me glares like daggers. "Hey Oliver! Who's this?" I asked innocently, trying my best to conceal my feelings toward Hana and her friend. "We were just talking about how much fun the trip was going to be. Right, Oliver?" Hana asked Oliver, turning back to him. Oliver nodded and I walked up to him. I lifted my head up slightly and Oliver got the message. We embraced each other in a hug and I heard Hana try to stifle a gasp. Oliver let me go and we held hands. "Sorry guys. Oliver and I want to get a seat on the bus next to each other." I told the shocked girls and Oliver lead the way to the bus.

A few people were getting on the bus along with us and we got a seat in the middle of the bus. I got the window seat, while Oliver took the isle seat. "Thanks for saving me back there." Oliver told me as he scratched the back of his head. "No problem. Hana trying to make a move?" I asked with a smile and a raised eyebrow. I had nothing to worry about with this guy! He liked me and I liked him back. "Nah. That girl with the pink hair seemed really odd though..." Oliver confessed. "Yea. It seemed like she was so similar to something but I couldn't think of what it reminded me of..." I trailed off in thought. We quietly talked about it as more and more of our classmates came on the bus and found their own seats. Then Miss. Ichi told us the rules of the trip when we got of the highway. "Rule One: Curfew is eleven thirty. Everyone must be in their own rooms by that time. Lights out at twelve. Rule Two: When were in the town everyone must stay in a group the whole time. Rule Three: No boys in girls rooms and the other way around, with the door open at all times. I repeat. The door must be open the whole time. That's it for now." Miss. Ichi sat back in her seat in the front of the bus and everyone went about chatting with each other.

"So Oliver," A few of the boys around us were talking to Oliver and being the anti-social that I am, pulled out my phone and put my headphones in. I turned it to my favorite playlist and stared out the window. This went on for most of the way their. I didn't mind much though. I liked to talk to Oliver, but that was about it.
