(Oliver in his animal form.Trust me!)
Oliver's POV
"You weren't fit to be king! Don't think that just because you were first born meant that you're superior to me brother!" I yelled at Darin. We had been wrestling for I don't know how long. "You will die here if you keep loving my soon to be wife!" Darin snarled back at me, sharp fangs bared. I threw my brother off me and he unfortunately landed on all fours about a meter away. I growled and then started panting. We were both slightly out of breath from the fierce fight. "You fight like father!" I let my claws out at his sentence. "I'm not going to die by your claws like him though!" I seethed back. Darin growled and lowered himself like he was about to pounce. I crouched down as well Our insults and cat fight had gone on since Corrina left us to go wherever Darin sent her. Darin launched himself at me, and I dove to the side, making sure to rake a claw or two into his side.
Darin smirked. "First blood's on you Oliver." I growled as he landed and turned on his right paws and bolted toward me. I braced myself for the impending attack. Then I was hit with a wall of what felt like iron against my side. The impact sent me flying through one of the wooden walls and outside. What also came with the pain in my back was that I had turned back into my human form. "Do you give up?" Darin jumped and pinned me down with his strong paws. I struggled against his massive weight. "Never! You don't deserve a girl like Corrina!" "Oh, and you do? What if I told her all about your childhood compared to mine. Who would she have more sympathy for, huh?"Darin bared his teeth in my face. I closed my eyes and tried to focus about getting my face torn off. Then, all of the sudden, a large shadow blocked out a small bit of the sun. "Get off him Darin!" My eyes flung open at the beautiful and familiar voice.
Darin growled, but looked up at Corrina as well. My eyes widened even more at the upside down image I had of the Fons girl.
Bolting down from the sky at incredible speed, she slammed her elbow into Darin's side and causing him to fly off of me. "Unfortunately I'm not ready to get married at sixteen. At least not to you anyway." Corrina gave her snide remark to the stunned tiger. "Are you OK Oliver?" My eyes flashed over to her concerned blue and green ones. But where was the purple? Every mark had a color and after your Ceremony Bestia you had the color somewhere when you transformed into the animal. "What animal are you exactly?" I asked before I could even think about saying 'OK' to the blonde. She smiled and turned her head back to the direction of Darin before responding. "I'm a Faerie. Spelled F-A-E-R-I-E. Don't get the two confused or Regina will yell at you from my head." She told me simply. "I can see you're OK. Now what should I do with him." Corrina muttered the last part before slightly looking up and remaining silent. Is she talking to someone? Or am I thinking things? And who's Regina? What's a Faerie? I'm going to need a better explanation than that!
Then Corrina muttered something I couldn't understand and parts of her body glowed a bright purple. Her shoulders, chest, elbows to knuckles, waist to feet were covered in the bright light. Is she transforming? Then the purple light shattered like glass and Corrina was covered in gold, white, and purple armor where the light used to be. Out of her hair grew these glistening purple wings that looks like a lotus flower. A small metal headband kept her hair out of her eyes- to which had turned a light purple- and a thin sword was strapped to her white hanging belt. "Seriously! What are you?!" I asked in awe. Corrina closed her eyes and chuckled. "I still don't know yet." She told me coolly. Then she held a hand to her head and sighed. "Alright. Alright! Calm down Regina! Your giving me a headache!" She sighed. "So the legends were true? You're talking to the first Queen Regina of our race and land, correct?" I turned my eyes to glare daggers at Darin. He was holding his side with both hands and panting heavily.
"Send me, Oliver, and all my friends and family home Darin. Your fantasy wedding is not happening." Corrina gripped the gold and white hilt of her thin sword. "I'll send everyone home." Darin stated flatly. Corrina narrowed her eyes, knowing that wasn't all he had to say. "But..." She questioned. Darin gave her a sly grin. "You marry me. In one hour." I sighed. Did he not know when to give up?! "Not happening your assness." I didn't recognize the voice coming from Corrina. It sounded mean, snide, and irritated. "Corrina and I want to go back to our old lives. Now am I going to have to open the portals myself or will you do that for me so I don't ruin my nails?" OK what the hell is happening to Corrina?! Like damn! What is this?! I decided to finally get off my butt and stood up. "Stand down pretty boy. Corrina would never let me hear the end of it if you got hurt." The blonde looked at me with slightly angry, but sympathetic eyes. I nodded and took a few steps back. What was she going to do?
