Corrina's POV

I fell through the portal into a dim room. Torches lined the circle room and from floor to ceiling was covered in brown stone. I stood up and turned around in circles, when finally my eyes saw a pair of glowing sapphire blue ones. "Who are you?" I asked, my voice strong. "When's your birthday?" The person asked. That was definitely a woman's voice. But why have I heard it before? "What time is it?" I asked, clenching my fists together. This was wasting her time! She needed to get out of here and find Oliver and Darin before one of them gets killed! "It's eleven fifty-five. I suggest you sit down and wait for your Ceremony." My eyes widened. What could I say?! "Where's the exit?! I have to get out of here!" I yelled at the girl. "Shut up!" The girl screamed back at me. Wind whipped from her direction and forced me to get on my knees. "Who- Who are you?" I asked once again. "Eleven fifty- eight. You'll soon find out." I glared through the dark at those glowing eyes. The girl's wind had made the already dark room, to become pitch black. "Why won't you just tell me how to get out of here instead of making me wait until Midnight?!" I asked infuriated.

"In due time Corrina. In due time." Was all I got in response. I clenched my teeth, but knew she wouldn't be able to see me doing so. After about a minute of silence, wind started circling around the room. Huh? Is she doing this? I glared at the girl, but soon had to close my eyes as the wind blew harder. "What is this?!" I called out. I didn't expect her to respond, and she didn't. Then an ancient letter started to glow purple underneath me. "Don't tell me-!" I started as more words and lines began to glow the same bright purple as well. "Embrace it." I looked up and noticed the same pair of glowing eyes were coming closer. "Is this your doing?" I called out. "It's midnight child!" The girl was now fairly visible through the glow. Then I started seeing spots. What the hell?! Is this what's supposed to happen?! Then the world became black and I fell to the floor. "Sleep." Was the last thing I heard before passing out.

Girl with Sapphire Eyes' POV

Corrina had passed out. I sighed. This queen is going to be such a weakling if she passed out this quickly! I squatted down and stared at Corrina. The letters and lines had created her purple mark on the back of her neck, and it was strangely mesmerizing. What pulled me out of my daze was Corrina's sudden screaming. Could she be experiencing the pain even worse while sleeping? Or was she that soft skinned? The mark on the back of Corrina's neck glowed brightly by this point. My eyes widened as her blonde hair grew longer and the blonde color changed slightly. "So this is what I looked like when I had my Ceremony Beastia." I said in awe. Corrina's started to glow longs and more pointed, like an elf's, and then her skin was then enveloped in bright purple lines and twists as her animal's blood was being released into her body. Corrina screamed once again, and I had to cover my ears.

I stood up and took a few steps back. "Damn you're a pain!" I yelled over Corrina's screaming. The purple light rose up in a furry and hit the stone ceiling. I squinted my eyes to keep watching. This is what I get for making a deal with Darin! That bastard better let me see my boyfriend after this! Corrina's body was lifted into the air through the purple stream of light's power. Then a burst of wind knocked me to the floor at top speed. "AHH!" I cried out as I hit the stone floor in the most uncomfortable position ever! I maneuvered myself into an all fours position threw the billowing force of the wind. I can see why this was held here. Suddenly a bright white light blinded me and I was knocked onto my back in an instant. I'm. Going. To. KILL HER! MY DAMN BACK HURTS SO FREAKEN BAD! The wind started to die down and The bright lights started to fade . I looked back over to see Corrina laying on the floor. The bright purple veins were starting to fade back under her skin once more.
