(This guy is very important. I'll tell you who he is later ;P)
Oliver's POV
After breakfast, Miss. Ichi told us what we were going to do today. "Today, we will be heading into town and I'll let your group do what you please with your own money. Note that if you are not back to the bus at noon, we will send out search parties for you. You're not escaping the wrath of this teacher if that happens!" She announced. Everyone gave their murmurs of either 'yes' or 'sure' and we were dismissed to grab everything we needed for the day. Tono and Orano followed me to the room and then we put everything the three of us needed in Orano's black backpack. He wanted to carry the bag the whole time. but I knew that about an hour later he would be begging for a shift. I put spray sunscreen and a water bottle in the bag and then the three of us headed downstairs to meet up with our group outside. Of course, we were the first there. "Hey Oliver?" Tono asked in his usual bored tone, while Orano was flexing his muscles for other girls in our class off to the side. "Yea?" "Yesterday I saw that you have a red mark on your shoulder. Care to explain why you have a mark like me and my brother do?" My eyes widened and I looked down at Tono next to me. I was about a head taller than him, but then again I am five ten.
"You- You have a mark? What color?" I questioned. "Our's is grey. I have it on the back of my ankle and Orano has it on the side of his neck. I'm surprise you didn't see it yesterday." He added with a smirk. I huffed a sigh and looked back toward the door. The heat was starting to get to me even though I was wearing a light blue v-neck tee and black shorts that reached my knees. Finally all the girls in our group walked out and I sighed again. Corrina was talking and smiling as she was speaking with Tora and Karin. They seemed to become good friends. We boarded the bus and Corrina and I sat next to each other in the back. "I have to tell you something. Will you talk to me later when we get back?" Corrina was serious. I nodded. "Oh, also." She began twiddling her fingers. Suddenly a small pair of lips were on my cheek momentarily and a bright red Corrina had hooded her eyes from me. "What was that for?" I asked and could feel my own face beginning to turn slightly red. "Because you saved me yesterday. And for being my boyfriend..." She mumbled the last word, but I still caught it.
I'm her boy... friend? YES! I reached for her hand and she took it gratefully. She closed her eyes and rested her head on my shoulder and I took the opportunity to gently kiss her on the top of her head. "Hey! No PDA on the bus! Especially if it's not me!" Orano called out at us. I waved him off and Corrina smiled. We sat like this until we had to get off the bus, and even then we still held hands. "Everyone make sure you stay in your groups and be back here at noon! Now go have fun!" Miss. Ichi called out to all of us and Tono lead the group down the sidewalk. The day consisted of window shopping, real shopping, snacking, talking, laughing, little PDA from Corrina and I, and resting someplace. We were walking back towards the bus when Corrina pulled me to the back of the line. "I can't hold it in any longer..." She began to whisper next to me. "Tora and Karin both have marks like us. And I met a girl from America last night that I took to Trinity, Rica, and Fredrick's place down the street." She told me quickly. My eyes widened. "Tono and Orano have marks too!" I told her. She looked up at me with wide eyes as well. Suddenly, as we were passing an alley, something grabbed Corrina by the waist and pulled her into the shadows. "Hey!" I yelled and ran after Corrina and her napper.
"Oliver?! Where's Corrina?!" It was Tono. "Help me get her!" I called back, not taking my eyes off Corrina and the shadowy man. Suddenly, he jumped up onto a dumpster with ease and then started climbing up a gutter. Oddly enough, it wasn't breaking from his weight. "Oliver!" Corrina screamed out. "Shut up Purple!" The man stopped just under the roof of the brick building and looked down at me and my approaching friends. He smirked evilly. His eyes were glowing a bright red and his hair had red and raven black streaks in it. "Who are you and what do you want with my girlfriend?!" I demanded at the man. "My name's Darin. What I plan to do with the purple one..." He paused and sneered at the wide eyes of everyone but me. I was growling. "I'm going to marry her." With that, Darin jumped into the air beside him and a black portal appeared. Corrina screamed as the two passed through it and disappeared. "NO!" I screamed and jumped onto the wall with an unnatural strength and jumped after the receding portal. Just as I was about to reach it, a small snapping noise echoed through the whole and the portal puffed away in smoke. I fell to the ground and the world started spinning. "Dammit! What was he talking about Oliver?" Tono asked as he pulled me up to my feet by my collar. "Just like you, Corrina has the purple mark." I stated blankly.
"You guys have them too?!" Hana called out. Everyone but me looked at her. She pouted and Kara stepped forward as well. "I have the green one and Hana has the blue one." I guess we're all special!" Kara said with a sweet closed eyed smile. I shook my head and my head started hurting but my vision was clearing slightly. "Let's get to the bus and say we couldn't find her anywhere. Say that we still want to go back and rest up after looking everywhere for Corrina. Then we need to find the house where other people with marks are staying." I told everyone the plan I had thought up. I needed to get Corrina back if it's the last thing I do in this world.
