For the next 5 minutes, we didn't talk. I took out my keys and opened the door. We both threw our bags on the ground.
"So, do you want anything to drink? Eat?" I say trying to break the silence.
"Um... I'll have some Pepsi." She says. Shit. I don't have Pepsi.
"We don't have Pepsi. Do you want some Canada Dry?" I ask.
"Sure." She says and let's out a faint smile.
I get both of us a can and grab 2 straws. I get some Smartfood White Cheddar Cheese Popcorn, because I know she likes it. Nash told me. I gave her the can and she said 'thanks'. I turned the T.V. On and this weird movie came on.
"Ken Kamata No!" A character yells. Me and Emily look at each other and laugh.
"What type of name is that?" She asks me.
All I did was laugh. At that moment, I knew that was our new inside joke. Ken Kamata. After a good laugh, I put the channel on SpongeBob. Sadly, the episode was about to end in 2 minutes. We flipped through the channels and there was nothing to watch... Except for The Notebook.
"Oh my god! I love that movie." Em screamed. Then we started watching it. I've never seen it before. There was only 30 minutes left.

The couple just died in each others arms.
"This part gets me every time." She laughs. While she's laughing, a tear slowly rolls down her cheek. I wipe it with my thumb.
"Seeing old couples makes me think that there's such thing as forever." I say.
|||EMILY'S POV|||
"Seeing old couples makes me think that there's such thing as forever." He says.
"There is such thing as forever." I said.
Next thing I know, he's leaning in for a kiss. And so am I.
Our lips finally meet. I hold him tightly and he does the same to me. Sparks fly. I can feel them.
"What the fuck!" Nash yells.
"Oh my god. Nash this isn't what it looks like!" Oh god.
"No it is what it looks like. Hayes what the hell were you thinking?!" Nash screams.
"Nash I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to. W-we were, I was, just caught in t-the moment. I'm sorry. It's not her fault, it's mine." Hayes says trying to defend me.
"No it's not just your fault! It's Emily's too." He looks at me. "You kissed back! You! Kissed! Back! You love him! Not me! Him!" Nash storms out. I run out the door trying to run after him, but he's gone.
I start balling my eyes out.
"This is all my fault." I mumble.
"No it's not. Its all gonna be okay." Hayes says.
"No! It's not gonna be okay!" I left before he could say anything else.
