"Emily! Where are you going?" I hear Hayes yell. I look both ways, ready to cross the street as Hayes grabs my arm. "I'm sorry. Just come back inside. Please."
"Why should I?"
"Because, I don't want you to do anything to yourself."
I didn't say anything as we went back inside.
"Where's Sammy?" Hayes asks.
"Oh, he left." Cam answers.
"Is everything alright?" Johnson wonders.
"Um..." Hayes tries to think of something to say.
"Yeah. We worked things out and we're all good now." I quickly say so then no one will question us.
I go into the kitchen and get stopped by Nash.
"Babe, are you okay?"
"Yes, and don't call me babe!"
"Sorry." Nash looks down.
"No, don't be sorry. Just, just don't do it again."
"What happened with you and hay-"
"Nothing!" I snap before he finishes.
"Come one Em. We're like best friends. Why don't you tell me? I won't judge you."
"Nash, you are one of my best friends, but I really don't want to talk about it. I hope you can respect that."
"Ugh, okay."

"What are we watching?" Gilinsky asks.
"21 jump street. Then after that, we're watching 22 jump street." Matt replies.
While the boys were watching the movie, I went upstairs to Nash's room, trying not to disturb them. I was scrolling through insta before I fell asleep.

"Hey Em. Wake up." I flutter my eyes and realize it's Nash.
"What time is it?"
"Two o'clock."
"What?! Did everyone leave?"
"Yeah."
"Ugh. I have to go home!"
"Nah g. It's okay. You're mom called earlier and we told her that you were sleeping. She said that you can stay as long as you'd like (as long as it was okay with us) because it'd be better than staying home alone."
"I don't think Hayes really wants me to stay." I say and get up.
"But he doesn't want you to leave, either."
I ended up going home at five because I had a stomach ache. After an hour of feeling like shit, I felt better and started to eat ice cream and watch Pretty Little Liars.
I checked my phone and see three texts from Sammy.
From Sammy:
Hey! Since today's my birthday, my parents wanted me to visit home so I won't see you for the next week.
From Sammy:
I'm gonna miss you. Like a lot.
From Sammy:
I really hope I didn't screw things up with you and Hayes. I just want to say sorry. I need to understand when to take no for an answer.
To Sammy:
Happy birthday! Hope you have a great day!❤️

Awkward place to stop but oh well.
Today kinda sucked.
