CHAPTER 17

|||EMILY'S POV|||

I wake up with Sammy laying next to me.

"Morning." He says. I smile. I get up and go to the kitchen. Sammy went back to sleep and no one else was awake... Except for Nash.

"Hey." He says while closing the refrigerator.

"Hi."

"Look, I'm really sorry about the way I behaved last night. I-I just just missed you."

"It's okay." I say as he gets up from his chair. "Love does crazy things."

"I guess it does." He says then pins me up to the wall and kisses me. I kiss him too. I put my arms around his neck and he grabbed my ass and picked me up. He carried me over to the couch where we saw Sammy. And Sammy saw us. We quickly moved away from each other.

"Please don't say anything to Hayes." I say to Sammy.

"You don't need to worry about that." Sam says as he looks to his right. He looks at Hayes walking away. Hayes saw...

"No no no no no." I run after Hayes. "Hayes please!"

"No Emily! You love Nash!" He screams.

"No I don't! I love you!"

"If you love me why would you kiss him?! God knows what would've happened if Sammy wasn't there!"

"I don't know what I was doing! Nothing would've happened. I swear. Please."

"Please? Please?! How dare you! How do you have the audacity to do this to someone who would give up everything for you? Who truly loves you like they've never loved anyone else."

"H-Hayes I'm sorry."

"So am I. I'm done with all of your confusion about who you love. I'm done with your ability to fall in love with so many people. I saw you with Sammy. And I'm done with you, me, us." He leaves and closes the door behind him.

"No, n-n-no. Hayes. Please." I sit on the ground with my head leaning on the door. "Please." I say before I lose all hope that he'll ever love me again.

It's been a crazy week. I lost a friend and I don't think we'll ever be friends again. I'm gonna miss him. But it's all my fault. I messed it up. I mess everything up.
