||Chapter Seventy One||
Mobola.
The Wilson mansion was filled with excitement and chatter as the entire William and Wilson family and other guests including my friends were around celebrating and having a jolly time with one another.
It was really a dinner party because I saw a lot of unfamiliar faces filtering around the house.Ire and I finally arrived after leaving the park but I made sure we made a pit stop at the bakery and mall so that I could order some Christmas scones and get them presents for the whole family.
I honestly wouldn't be able to live with myself if I went to that party empty handed. Although Ire said it didn't matter and that everything will be handled by the chef at the mansion but I didn't listen to him. I was brought up to never show up to an event empty handed, and it was Christmas. I needed to show my own type of love to his family and friends.
I got Ire's mum a new pair of knitting materials, she mentioned needing a new pair the last time I went over. I got Wunmi a set of nice Christmas mugs, I'm sure she'd have a ton at home but it's the thought that count. I also got little Richard a set of Batman comics the limited editions and Ire's Dad a complete set of office ties.
I might not like the man but he was my boyfriend's father and I was brought up to show respect to my elders, no matter how bad they were and I might sort of look up to him even with how annoying and stiff he is. I could see that he really loved his family.
"Finally, you two showed up!" Wunmi exclaimed in happiness hugging me and later her brother.
She looked beautiful wearing a soft peach gown with tiny straps and a plunging neckline and a thigh high slit with diamond studs on both her ears, her hair styled up in a tight ponytail with silver stiletto heels on her feet.
She looked so classy dressed like that.
"Merry Christmas Wunmi" I said with a smile.
"Merry Christmas mobsy and you too little brother" she answered bumping Ire's shoulders causing him to roll his eyes playfully."Pumpkin have you seen Richard anywhere, I've been looking all over for him"
"He must be with Lizzie, playing around or something" Wunmi answered absentmindedly as I looked up at the man his eyes finally noticing mine."Hello, I don't think I've seen you anywhere"he said his voice smooth and his accent thick.
He was white, his skin pale with gelled black hair but he was very attractive. He had one of his ears pierced and had blue eyes.
He was wearing a coral blue shirt on pressed trousers and a pair of black loafers. He was really good looking and looked like he stepped out of a magazine."Babe, this is Mobola. Ire's girlfriend" Wunmi introduced his eyes widening in recognition.
"You're serious??" He asked again in surprise looking at Wunmi causing her to chuckle.
"Yeah babe, she's the one" she replied again.
"Wow, I'm Dale and I must say it's really nice to finally meet you" he said extending his hand out for a shake."Mobola, this is Dale my husband" Wunmi said with a smile my eyes widening in surprise.
This was her husband?! Damn! Is everyone in this family attractive!
"Wow, it's really nice to meet you" I answered shaking his hand.
"Merry Christmas bro" Ire greeted giving dale a side bro hug.
"Same bro, been expecting you" he answered with a small smile."Wunmi your husband is freaking gorgeous" I whispered in her ears causing her to chuckle in delight.
"I know right, I'm lucky aren't I?" She whispered.
I looked at him once more, admiring him before giving her an answer.
"Very" I said with a smile causing her to giggle softly.
"Thanks mobsy" she answered.
