June hovered around me as she tried to help me into my beautiful ball gown. She showed up with a few of her crew to help me dress up under strict orders from Nona to get me look glamorous. My hairdo was pretty decent and nice, It was rolled and styled round the back with silver diamond pins to keep it from falling down my back.

The formal ball was starting in three hours and I hadn't seen Ire or the girl's anywhere, but I figured they'll be getting ready. The gown looked amazing on me sparkling underneath the lights, the gems illuminating and brightening up the dress. I couldn't wait to show it to Ire, Nona really went all out for me and I honestly can't thank her enough. I held the sides of the dress feeling the lacy material as I watched it flow to the ground. My shoes looked amazing, I was wearing blue stilletoe heels and for the first time I was really excited to slip them on.

My phone beeped showing I just got a text from Ire, I opened it up reading it a lovely smile growing on my face.

I shook off the nerves, excitement setting in as I took my seat gently on the high stool as I waited patiently for June to do my makeup. In a minute she was right next to me, doing her thing very professionally when my best friends all walked in looking exceptionally glamorous with gleeful smiles on their faces. They all walked towards me as I admired them in their outfits. They looked amazing!
Jasmine's dress was honestly stunning and I loved Tade's hairdo. Kolade looked like a run way model and I happily squealed as I locked eyes with my friends.
"Oh my God!! Guys! You look fab! Like oh my god jasmine your dress is amazing " I said in happiness admiring them all..
"Aww thanks mobs.." jasmine said smiling happily as she twirled her dress flowing flamboyantly..

"Mobsy your dress is to die for!! Damn girl! You're totally wearing gemssss" Tade squealed in excitement as she admired my outfit causing me to blush.
"Thanks tee, I love your hair. You look beautiful" I complimented causing her to smile.
"Aww thank you babyyyy" she said in happiness.

"Is your makeup going to take long?" Kola asked finally saying something.
"I'm not sure. June?" I said turning to her.
"I just need twenty more minutes" June answered.
"You heard the stylist tik" I said with a soft smile causing him to chuckle.
"Ire's gonna loose his shit when he sees you mobs, you honestly look amazing.." Kola admired making me blush.
"Thanks Tik.."

After I was finally done with my makeup, my friends all left in a rush saying they had to be somewhere honestly confusing me and making me a bit suspicious. June was done with styling me and she had already left and I had to say that she did a really good job with me, I looked amazing!.

I stood in front of the full length mirror, admiring how I looked taking pictures and waiting for my friends to come back when I got a really weird text from Ire.
"Meet me by the lake, I'm waiting for you muffin".
He wanted me to come to the lake? By this time?. It was pretty late and I honestly didn't want to get this dress ruined.
"Don't worry, I'll have George accompany you.."
Another text of his entered, huh? He wanted George his butler to bring me to the lake. What exactly has he got planned?.There was a knock on the door, picking up my purse I walked to the door opening it to find George standing right in front looking sharp.
"Oh hello?" I greeted still confused by what was currently happening.
"We should go miss." He said curtly extending his arm for me to hold unto.
