Kolade.
Ire, Eric and I were hanging out at Eric's apartment playing video games and just chilling. After his aunt's wedding we all left in Eric's car and decided to crash at his place and we've been here for over two days now.

The girls although were worried about our whereabouts but later on found out from Ire that we were fine and in one piece. Although ever since the wedding I noticed Ire's being spacing out a lot.

His mind's just somewhere else and I wondered what is that's been getting him to think this much.
"Hey bro, what's up with you?" I asked turning to glance at him my fingers heavily pressing the game pad.

"What do you mean?" He answered looking up from his phone.
"It's just that you've been out of it since the party."

"So?" He replied
"So what's up with that? What exactly do you keep thinking about?" I asked
He gave a sigh before answering me, "it's just about my relationship with Mobola".

"Okay.. is there something wrong?"
"No, everything's fine.."

"Then what's the prob?" I asked confused
"It's just.. I've been thinking.." he said slowly rubbing his face with both his hands.

"Yeah?.."
"I've been thinking about marrying her" he blurted out his words shocking me and causing me to freeze.
His eyes pleaded with me to relax and say anything but I was frozen in surprise.

"It's crazy isn't it?, am I rushing too fast?" He asked me sounding doubtful.

"You wanna marry mobs?" I asked again not sure I heard right the first time.
"Yes, I mean I love her and I don't see myself spending the rest of my life with anyone else except her" he answered.

"Oh Wow!" I exclaimed with a shocked smile on my face loving the news very much.
"Is it a good idea? Won't I be scaring her away?. Is it too soon?" He asked sounding doubtful.

"Of course it's a good idea, I don't know about the scaring away part but I'm sure she won't be appalled. It's not too soon, you guys have been in love with each other for two years now, I'm just concerned.."I answered thinking deeply.
"About what?"
"If mobs is ready to take this huge step in her life, it's one thing for her to really love her and it's another thing for her to drop everything she's ever known and get married to you. You have to think from her perspective." I explained

"That's the thing bro, I am and that's why I haven't gotten down on one knee and just asked her to be mine forever.." he answered with a sigh causing me to chuckle softly.
A simp I tell you.. ire's a big time simp..

"Have you discussed it with her yet?" I asked as he looked at me confused.
"About me getting married to her?"
"Not exactly.. like getting to know what she wants to do in the nearest future, if marriage is something she's ready for? You know.. those basic stuff" I explained.

"No bro, we actually haven't discussed that.." he answered truthfully.
"Well you should, that's the only way you'll know if mobs is really ready to get married anytime soon. Tade and I discuss all of that, even before she moved in with me I made sure it was something she was ready for.. not because I wanted her to do it, you get." I explained.

"So you and Tade can get married anytime soon" he asked curiously.
"Yeah.." I answered with a smile
"Then why haven't you proposed yet?" He asked again..

"We're both still young Ire, I want to have fun and she does too. We both want to explore as much as we can before we settle down, marriage comes with a lot of responsibilities Ire and we both don't think we're ready for it. Tade mostly" I answered truthfully as he nodded in understanding.
