||Chapter One||
I woke up to screams and loud noises and stirred annoyingly on my bed as I finally opened my eyes after so much hesitation and wondered what was going on outside.
"Can't these people allow someone to sleep in on a saturday without causing some sort of drama" .
I groaned in annoyance getting up from my bed putting on my pink fluffy slippers as I went out of my room to see what the cause of the commotion was.
" You theif!, How dare you try to steal my clothes?". " I didn't steal your clothes, really. I only took them out of the line so I could dry mine".
" Good morning" I heard someone greet me, I turned around to see who it was and found out that it was Isaac. Isaac was a fellow resident in this hostel and he was the first person to actually talk to me politely when I newly moved in with my roommate. He was my senior in school, a year after me. He seemed like a really nice guy to hang out with and we just clicked as friends although my roommate dislikes him for an unknown reason.
"Good morning Isaac, What's going on?" I asked looking around to see most of the residents of this hostel surrounding the two that were fighting. I recognized the two girls who currently fought each other. They also resided in this hostel, but I wondered why anyone will want to fight with Tolu cos she was such a calm person it was hard to want to mistreat her in any rude way possible.
"Gloria accused Tolu of trying to steal her clothes" Isaac explained bringing me out if my thoughts as I watched the undergoing argument.
" Like seriously, Tolu isn't that type of girl. I'm pretty sure it's a misunderstanding".
"Of course it is, but Gloria refused to see it that way. I mean Tolu only took out her clothes so she'll be able to dry hers".
"Everyone knows Gloria is a troublemaker. Just ignore her. Poor Tolu, how's she going to handle the matter now?" I asked feeling worried.
" Tunde will handle it, don't worry. And besides we all like Tolu and know how gloria usually behaves, we won't let her harm her".
He replied with a reassuring smile.
" That's good to hear. I'll be going back to my room, Y'all disturbed my sleep."
" Oh okay. Hey Mobola"
" Yeah?"
" What about your roommate Tade?, I haven't seen her in a while" he asked.
" Oh, she's not around for a while. But she's doing fine" I answered with a reassuring smile.
" Alright".
Poor Isaac, he cares about Tade and always asks about her all the time but Tade just doesn't even care about his existence. She ignores him every time he tries to talk to her or tries to greet her. I normally ask her why she dislikes him so much and she'll say ,
