A week later...
I found myself waking up in bed due to the loud sound of the alarm clock. I then roll off my bed in a sluggish way, followed by me grabbing the alarm clock to check what time it currently is.
" 10 am... I guess I should get ready."
I went inside the shower to take a bath and then brushed my teeth inside the tub to save time. I got out and went back inside my room to get dressed.
" My flight is scheduled tonight at 6... I suppose I have enough time to burn until then."
' I should start packing my things before I leave the apartment.'
As I was carelessly stuffing all my clothes inside the duffle bag, I come across the scarf Aqua gave me a week ago. I haven't worn it since then... And I don't think I can bring myself to even look at it at this point.
' I'm bringing it home with me for Aqua's sake, but I don't think I'll use it anymore. If I want to move on, I have to get rid of everything that resembles Hololive.'
I stuffed the scarf inside and immediately closed the bag so I don't have to keep seeing the scarf that reminded me of the woman I loved. Without wasting too much time, I gave my small apartment a hug to bid my farewell.
" I'll be going now... Thank you for your warm welcome to me every time I get home from a rough day at work."
' Matsuri really took great care of you... I bet you miss her too, huh?'
Matsuri: " Welcome home, dear! How's your day at work?"
" Yeah..."
2 hours later...
I'm currently walking on the sidewalk while carrying my heavy duffle bag as I desperately try to find a restaurant to have lunch. I haven't eaten breakfast yet either so my stomach is in complete shambles.
" How much money do I even have left, 5k yen? That's barely anything at all..."
While I was counting the money inside my wallet, I stumble across something that caught my attention. In a dark alleyway, loud noises can be heard inside. A pleading voice of a young woman and 3 different adult male voices can be heard.
' Is someone being harassed? Why isn't anyone trying to do anything to help?'
These people around me can definitely hear what's happening, but even so, they don't try to bat an eye just so they wouldn't get involved. They're not even bothering to call the police. It's a fucked up world... It really is...
' But can I really blame them though? Why try to get involved over something that can only risk your life? I'm no superhero...'

" I couldn't even save Fubuki and be her hero..."
Fubuki: " I'm counting on you, my hero!"
It's been a week already, but I just can't stop reminiscing about my past with these girls. Time will surely heal these wounds, but for how long do I have to wait? This emptiness I'm feeling is eating me from the inside... I hate it... I despise it so much... I just want to move on.
