Y/N POV
Mio: " So let me get this straight... You and Subaru-chan are not Inlove with each other but are still in a relationship together just because she wanted to keep you from seducing other girls...?
" Yes..."
Mio: " This is such a pain, why am I even trying this hard to understand..." Mio sighs as she slowly deflated.
6 people are awkwardly eating lunch on a table together with a very heavy atmosphere surrounding the air. Sitting at the opposite side of the table are Mio, Subaru, and Haato.
Mio is just laying her head on the table like a deflated balloon. Her trying to understand the purpose of our relationship slowly drained every braincell she had left. I don't know why Haato is here with us but she's just casually eating her lunch even with the heavy atmosphere we're in. Meanwhile, Subaru is just sitting with a very salty look on her face, arms are crossed while shooting a glare at me. I have no choice but to actually start a conversation with her to liven up the mood.
" Hey Subaru, why did you change your clothing?" I noticed that she's not wearing the fancy outfit anymore.
Subaru: " Hmph! I don't need it anymore shuba!" She jerked her head away while pouting.
Inner me: ' She did all that makeover just for you and it was all gone to waste... You are a monster...'
' I don't know if you're trying to make make me feel guilty cuz it's actually working.'
I really am being an idiot. I got too fixated on getting to Aqua that it didn't cross my mind that Subaru actually made a lot of effort to gain my attention...
"..."
Haato: " Are you not eating your lunch Subaru-chan? Can I have it!?" Haato noticed that Subaru's lunch is still untouched.
Mio: " How did you finish your lunch so quickly..."
Haato pinned her body to Subaru's side while giving her the puppy eyes.
Haato: " Pwetty Pwease~~??"
Subaru: " Take it. I don't really have the mood to eat anything anyways." she says before sliding her tray to Haato's side of the table.
Haato: " Thank you, my beloved Subaru-chan!" she gave her a quick hug before munching down the tray of food like a pig.
' This girl's mind is really impossible to read...'
Inner me: ' Strange why she tagged along for lunch.'
A light tap on my shoulders disrupted my gaze towards Subaru and the others, the tap came from a girl sitting next beside me, she's holding chopstick full of food while carefully bringing it closer to my mouth.
Matsuri: " Say ahhhh." She says to me while smiling.
I forgot to mention that Matsuri and Aqua are also here with us eating. When me and the others came to the cafeteria, both of these girls were already here waiting for us.
A slight hesitation came to me before I slowly opened my mouth to eat the food she's offering to me.
Matsuri: " How does it taste?"
" Uhhh... It's my cooking..."
' It's already becoming a routine where I make 2 lunches and give one to Aqua while the other one will be shared by Matsuri and I.'
