Anna's POV:
"Snowflake are you ok?" Elsa said hugging me tightly. "You dashed out pretty quick."
I nod softly but don't open my eyes as I know exactly what I'll see. I can already feel the dagger in Elsa's chest. "I-I'm sorry..."
"Anna?" Elsa said stroking my hair. "Why aren't you opening your eyes?"
"I had a dream that you were stabbed in the chest with a dagger, now whenever I open my eyes, that's all I can see... I'm sorry Elsa..." I whimpered hiding my face in her shoulder.
"Hunny, its not your fault, you didn't ask to have these dreams. I'm sorry Snowflake truly I am..." Elsa said softly.
I nod weakly. "Don't be..." I say defeated. I open my eyes to see whether Elsa is in colour but like everything else she's black and white. "No..."
"Anna? What's wrong baby? You look terrified." Elsa said taking my hands.
"I want my colour back..." I whimper. "Everything's black and white."Elsa frowned and picked me up. "Come on let's get you back to the castle shall we?"
I snuggle into her and look into her eyes. I love her a lot. An awful lot. She always knew how to make me smile and laugh. Whenever I'm with her I feel really safe. Before long we were at the castle and Elsa was carrying me back to my room. I look around my room, everything was dark, everything was colourless. I whimper and bite my nails.
"Anna hunny look at me." Elsa said gently tilting my head. "I want you to get some sleep. I'm going to get the doctor."
"Don't leave me alone! Please Elsa..." I beg in between sobs. "Please please please."
"OK OK shush hunny. I won't leave your side or your room but I need to get Kai or Henry to get the doctor." Elsa says poking her head round the door.Elsa's POV:
Anna was distraught. She was frightened. She was beyond consoling. She kept begging for me to stay even when I said I was staying. What the hell was happening to her? All this time she's been this quiet, happy go lucky, fearless, amazing individual and now she's completely different. The doctor comes into check Anna but Anna was having none of it, she refused to be touched and her screams got louder. Before long the doctor had to seduce her to calm her down and then he checked her over before motioning to me to follow him over to the corner of the room.
"Your Majesty, I'm afraid I have no diagnosis for what Anna is seeing. I have prescribed her some sleeping pills so she sleeps."
"Do you have any idea why she's acting this way?" I ask biting my lip. "She's never acted like this before."
"Her anxiety is through the roof, my Queen if you want her to stay calm my best suggestion is that you keep her inside the castle at all times. She may refuse to stay inside but it is the only way to keep her safe. I've also prescribed some pills for that too. Make sure she takes them everyday. For her arm, I have changed the bandage again its healing nicely." The doctor said softly.
"Keep her inside? That doesn't seem like a massive deal. I'm sure I can find us loads of things to do around here." I smile. "Thank you doctor. I appreciate your help."
"Of course your majesty. Now, make sure she takes her pills." The doctor said before heading out of the room.
I nervously went over to Anna and bite my lip. I knew how stubborn Anna was so telling her she had to stay behind closed doors again may not be the best idea. "Hey Snowflake, you feeling better now?" I say sitting down on the bed.
Anna nodded and snuggled into me. She winched at the pain in her arm and I could see the scar on her stomach from her previous cut. "I need to discuss something with you, but I need you to listen and not get angry."
Anna looked up at me and nodded softly, her eyes were red and tears stained her cheeks. She looked so unhappy, why can't I do something to ease her pain? Why aren't I the one who has the pain? Why does it have to be the most innocent person on this planet? I shake my head and kiss Anna's forehead, taking a deep breath. "The doctor has said that your anxiety is through the roof and suggests it may be better if we stay inside the castle until you're feeling OK again."
Anna shrugged and lent agaisnt me. I sighed in relief, I thought she was gonna have a big blowout, but she didn't. She looked exhausted. "You tired baby?"
Anna nodded and snuggled into me further. "You need to take your tablets remember? They'll help you sleep." I say grabbing the glass of water left behind by Kai.
I gently sit Anna up before giving her one of the pills and before long she's fast asleep. I very carefully undress her and put her in her nightdress before kissing her head. "Goodnight Snowflake." I then tuck her in before leaving the room to go and see Kristoff in the stables.Kristoff's POV:
Well I was back in Arendelle and personally I can't believe I ever left. I had made up with Anna and we became best friends once again and Elsa became my second in command. I was brushing Sven's fur when I heard the stable doors burst open. I turn to see a distressed looking Elsa. I immediately engulf her in a hug and she breaks down into tears.
"Elsa? What's wrong?" I say sitting her down on the makeshift bed.
"Its Anna, she's gotten worse." Elsa whimpered.
"Got worse how?" I say stroking her back gently.
"She's lost her colour vision, her anxiety is through the roof, she needs pills and pills... Why is this happening to her? She doesn't deserve it." Elsa said leaning against me.
Honestly this was the first time I had ever seen Elsa like this and I wasn't sure how to handle it. She was flurrying and that wasn't always a good sign. I take a deep breath.
"Elsa? Anna will be OK, I may not feel that way at the moment but she will be. Do you wanna know why I know that? Because she has you and me. Especially you. You're her girlfriend and she adores you. I'm her best friend and I will make sure I do everything I can to help you, help Anna ok? I won't let you go through this on your own Elsa." I say with a smile.
"Thanks Kristoff. I appreciate it a lot." Elsa said wiping her nose on her sleeve. "Sorry long day."
"Don't be sorry Your Majesty. Go and get some rest, and call me if you need me ok?" I say taking Elsa to her bedroom. "I'll be in the stable."
Elsa smiles and wishes me goodnight before heading to bed. Once I know she's safe I head back to the stables but hear small sobs coming from a room across the hall. Anna's room... But she was asleep wasn't she? Or at least she should be. Elsa said she was on sleeping pills. I open her door to see her curled up in a tight ball, clutching her teddy and trying to muffle her sobs with her pillow. I notice the lone sleeping pill on the side of the table and frown. She didn't take it but why? However I was about to find out as Anna raised her head and reached out for me.
"E-Elsa?" Came a tiny voice.
"No its Kristoff... Anna are you OK?" I ask going over to her.
Oh god, this was a secret that I was not going to be able to tell Elsa wasn't it?
