Chapter 3: Kristanna or not Kristanna?

Trigger warning: this chapter has mentions of abuse in it. Not in a lot of detail or anything but yeah physical and emotional abuse is mentioned. If you're sensitive to that, please skip the 4th paragraph of Anna's second POV! Katie 😊

Anna's POV:
Standing in the doorway with Hans and Eric, my brother before Hans I believe, was Kristoff. Kristoff looked at me with a smirk in his face. "Well you've finally found your home? It took you almost 18 years..."
I look away. "Why are you here Kristoff? Don't you think you did enough damage when you broke to with me?" I say before burying my head in my knees.
"Oh Anna, I'm here to ask you out again. I never stopped loving you I just really hated Arendelle so I moved here with Sven." Kristoff said kneeling in front of me. "Don't cry baby it will be OK."
I look up at Kristoff and bite my lip. "I really want to believe you Kristoff but I can't. You moved to the Southern Isles where HE lives and after I told you what he did to me, I can't believe you Kristoff."
"Oh Anna you have no choice in the matter. You will become my girlfriend again or I will travel back to Arendelle and hurt your beloved sister." He smirks and kisses me gently.
I reluctantly kiss back before being hauled up again. I whine in pain and look down. Kristoff picks me up which only adds to the already unbearable pain. I close my eyes and bite my lip to stop from crying out.
"Anna, hunny what's wrong?" Kristoff said stroking my hair.
"Nothing. I'm fine." I say through gritted teeth. "But can you please put me down? I can walk..."
Kristoff glared at me. "Why would I put you down? You probably have an escape plan in place. So no I will not put you down."

Before I can say anything else, Hans slaps my cheek. "You've been hiding something from us Anna."
Eric nods and holds up the letter. "What is this?"
"Put it down Eric please!" I whisper.
"Awe Anna's gone back to not talking to us. Awe poor little Anna all alone. Kristoff see to it that she's punished for this. We're going to take this letter to father to see what he wants to do with you." Hans said with a smirk before he and Eric left the room.

I look up at Kristoff who smiles and holds up a key. "Come on baby, I'm getting you out of here."
I gasp and hug him tightly before looking into his deep auburn eyes. "I-It was a trick?" I sign.
Kristoff nodded and kissed my forehead. "I wanted them to disappear so I hid that letter in plain sight so that they would see it and disappear. I'm sorry he slapped you though."
I shrugged. Right now I didn't care about that, I cared about the fact that my boyfriend was back and I still loved him so much. Kristoff opened the door and carried me to where Sven was waiting with all of his stuff in the sled. I smiled and Kristoff laid me in the back before wrapping me in a blanket. "Get some rest baby. I'll wake you when we get to Arendelle."

I nod and slowly close my eyes dreaming of seeing my sister again.

Elsa's POV:
It had been a month since Anna had gone missing, I'd put up posters and asked everyone in Arendelle if they had seen her. I was blaming myself for showing her those journals. If I had found out I was adopted and my worst enemy was my brother I would have done the same as Anna. Run away from the one person who should've told her that. I really hope she's OK. Wherever she is I hope she's OK.

At the current moment in time I'm tracking everything that people have said about Anna into a folder for safekeeping when I hear a familiar voice knocking on my door. "Queen Elsa, its Kristoff can you let me in please?"
"Kristoff what on earth are you doing here?" I ask opening the door. However before I could say anything else I see my younger sister leaning against Kristoff with a weak smile on her face. Her body looked bruised, her face was red and scratched, her hair a tangle. I gasped and engulfed into a hug. "Anna where have you been?"

Anna's POV:
*before the reunion*
Kristoff wakes me up as he pulls into the stables of home. He smiles softly and helps me up. "Can you walk love?"
I nod but stumble and nearly fall over. Kristoff catches me and leans me against him. "One step at a time baby. That's it." He helps me walk up to a familiar looking door.

When the door opens I'm greeted by my older sister who engulfs me into a hug. "Anna where have you been?" She says before stroking my fringe out of my eyes.
"Hans kidnapped her and took her back to the Southern Isles, then found me and wanted me to hurt her like he did." Kristoff mumbled.
"I asked Anna but thanks Kristoff." Elsa said looking at me. "Are you ok?"
I nod and smile weakly. "I'm fine just glad to be home. Kristoff saved my life, anymore time there and I probably would've been hung..." I sign weakly.
"Anna you've gone back to signing. You haven't done that since you were 14. What the hell happened when you were there?" Elsa said looking at both of us.

I shake my head, not wanting anyone to know what happened to me. I look at Kristoff and point to my room. He nodded and led me over there. Elsa followed and together they helped me into bed.
"Anna please tell me, I want to be able to help you." Elsa whispers as she passes me my teddy.
"Kristoff can you go outside please..." I sign with pleading eyes. "I'll tell you at some other point."

Kristoff nodded and went outside, I turned to my sister and took a deep breath. "They beat me up, they called me names, they cut me, they locked me in my room. Everyday" I whimpered looking at Elsa.
"Omg Anna, I'm so sorry." She said. "You're safe now I promise."
I nod and pull the duvet up over my face. I didn't want Elsa to see the damage that they did.
"Do you mind if I take a look Anna? I will patch the cuts up for you." Elsa said stroking my hair out of my face.
I shake my head. "I-Im fine..." I whisper looking up at her with wide eyes. I didn't want to take my clothes off, they were keeping the pain at bay. However Elsa was not backing down. "Anna I need to know whether you have any open cuts that could get infected." She said as she pulled the duvet off from around me.
I reluctantly nod and sigh. Elsa smiles softly and carefully undresses me before gasping at the wound on my stomach. She makes an ice cube and presses it onto the cut. I hiss in pain but soon it feels nice and cooling. Whilst I lie there, Elsa goes to grab a first aid kit and a rag.

Elsa's POV:
My sister's body is covered in scars and scabs and open wounds. Not just that bruises and scratches. However, even with all that she's still so beautiful. I wish I had her colour of hair and her fair skin. I grab what I need before heading back to Anna's room. I start carefully cleaning her wounds blushing every now and then. Once she's all patched up and comfortable in her nightie, I lay down next to her. "Get some rest Anna."
"I'm not tired Elsa..." Anna whined looking at me.
"Yes you are you're yawning as we speak. Would you like me to sing you mothers lullaby?" I say kissing her cheek.
Anna blushes and nods. "All is found?"
"Where the North Wind, meets the sea.
There's a river, full of memory.
Sleep my Darling safe and sound
For in this river all is found." Before I could finish the song Anna was fast asleep in my arms.

I was happy that my little sister was home and safe and I would do anything to protect her but there was something else there. Something unexpected, something that could destroy our relationship forever...

You may be wondering Katie what is Elsa keeping from Anna? Well my good people you will find out in the next chapter. Now don't hate me but I want to do a whole chapter on Elsa and Anna's relationship! Anna admits that she's gay and Elsa tells her that she's gay too and then they talk and cuddle and be as close as they were when they were kids! Ohhhhh and Hans will turn up again at somepoint.
