Anna's POV:
I was in a dark room. That's all I could see was darkness. No escape, no light. Just darkness. My whole body ached and I felt a dull throb in my arm. "Is anyone there?" I whispered my voice barely visible. There was no response. I tried to move to find my hands chained to the walls again like when Hans kidnapped me. Was that where I was? Had he taken me back to the Southern Isles? My eyes adjust to the darkness and I see two figures in the corner of the room. I gasp when I see who they are. "E-El! K-Kristoff!" There was no response and I thought that was little strange but then I saw the daggers in their chests and their lifeless expressions. "NO!" I scream. I try to get my hands free from the chains but I couldn't. "ELSA!" I cried before curling up in a ball and sobbing. Before long a figure stood over the top of me holding a gun to my head. "I found out everything about you and your sister dating Anna. Its illegal and for that she paid the price, you have two options here, either you give me the throne or I shoot you here."
"Hans please let me go!" I scream.
"Anna... Anna... Anna?!" I hear my name being shouted and my whole body shaken. My eyes fly open and I see Elsa looking at me with a worried look on her face.
"Elsa you're alive!" I sob. "I thought you were dead. Where's Kristoff?"
"Snowflake, Kristoff is in the barn with Sven, where he usually is. What happened?"
I explained the nightmare to Elsa and she bites her lip before laying down next to me. "You don't think Hans knows about us do you?"
I weakly shake my head. "I-I dont think so. I think it was part of the dream..."
Elsa nodded and kissed my head. "You OK Snowflake?"
"I'm better now that I'm awake and know you're alive." I say snuggling against Elsa.
"I will never leave you Anna, never ever." Elsa said gently kissing me. I kiss back with a small smile and giggle. "What's so funny Snowflake?"
"Nothing, your lips taste like cherry." I chuckle.
"Well I did put on some cherry flavoured lip gloss, so that might he why." Elsa chuckles before kissing me again. "I have some business to attend too, which you're welcome to come to if you'd like."
I nod and reach up for her. "Help me up please El!"
She nods, grabs my crutches and helps me up off the bed. I felt dizzy and soon fell back down onto the bed. "OK maybe staying here is a good idea for a while Snowflake. I'll bring you some tablets and books OK?" Elsa said stroking my hair and tucking me in. "I'll be back as soon as I can, I'll send Kai in with your stuff OK? I love you."
"Elsa don't leave me! I don't want to be alone..." I whimper.
"I'll be back before you know it baby. I promise." Elsa said kissing me gently. "You won't even know I've gone." She smiles before disappearing out of the room. I grab my book and begin to read but the words keep moving around so I give up. I sigh and look out of the window at the world passing by and smile as I see the village children playing happily.Elsa's POV:
I felt horrible for leaving Anna on her own, especially as she'd just had a nightmare, but I had something to attend to. I go to my study when suddenly I am greeted by a tired looking Kai and a burly man. "Kai is everything OK?"
"Where is she?! Where is my daughter?!" The man yelled.
"This man claims you've stolen his daughter." Kai said softly.
"Who is your daughter sir?" I say raising an eyebrow. I have a pretty good inclination but I wanted to hear it from him.
"Anna of the Southern Isles. You people kidnapped her and brought her up here in Arendelle." The man spat.
"Ah yes Anna, my beloved sister, who my parents saved from a lifetime of neglect. You wanted sons, you never wanted a daughter. What is your name?" I say sitting down behind my desk. "Kai you may stand outside the door."
"Yes your majesty." Kai said before exiting, leaving me alone with Anna's father.
"My name is John. I have 13 sons and Anna is my daughter." John said crossing his arms. "And I want her back."
"Well John, I'm afraid that's not going to happen because when she's here I can protect her and make sure she isn't hurt. You left her with wounds I cannot heal, wounds my mother and father couldn't heal. She screams every night and I have to comfort her. She's been hurt by your sons when they kidnapped her, she could barely walk. She doesn't want to speak to anyone. She went into the village today to get some bread for us and she came home with her arm bleeding. Why do you want Anna back?" I say crossing my arms.
"Because she's my daughter and I love her with all my heart." John said softly.
I scoff. "If that was true, you wouldn't have let Anna get hurt by Hans and his brothers. She has a word written on her arm that will not go away. Hans did that."
"What's the word?" John asked seemingly concerned.
"Your son has engraved my sisters arm with fag. That's never going to go away now and she will be forever reminded that apparently being gay is wrong." I say glaring at John.
"Your majesty, I didn't know about that, I didn't know about Hans and my other sons hurting Anna. I tried so hard to protect her when she was living with me, but I couldn't keep her away from them, they would take her out and she'd some back with bruises and cuts and she always shook with fear, that's why I gave her up to give her the best chance in life. I had a gut feeling she would come out as gay and I'm proud of her for that. I never got to see Anna grow up, but I'd really like to see her now." John says looking down.
"How do I know I can trust you? How do I know this isn't some plan to get Anna hurt again?" I say raising an eyebrow.
"You don't but please let me prove it too you." John said bowing. "Please let me see my daughter."
"She said you hurt her." I say bringing up the one thing that had been playing on my mind. "Is that true?"
John shook his head. "No your majesty I would never hurt her. I know exactly who that was."
"Who?" I say crossing my arms.
"My brother..."Anna's POV:
My mind wandered constantly back to that dark room, that horrible place. The screams were unbearable and they weren't just any screams they were my screams. I tried to take my mind off of the screams but every time I got up I felt dizzy and the room spun. I needed Elsa and I needed Elsa quickly. I grabbed my crutches before stumbling towards her study. "E-El?" I whimper opening the door.
Elsa dashed over to me. "Anna you're supposed to be in bed."
My eyes widen as I see who she is talking too. "D-Dad?" I whisper before leaning against Elsa and closing my eyes.
