Chapter 16: Lion of the Campus

First of all, I AM SO SORRY kung di ako nakapag-update for more than a year. I've been busy with a lot of things at inatake rin ako ng writer's block.. Pasensya na po.

I dedicate this chapter to you dahil kahit matagal akong di nakapag-update, sinubaybayan mo pa rin story ko.. Thank you talaga!!! =)))

Mira's POV

Here I am. Standing in front of the school's main entrance. One thing I can say is, WOW. Entrance pa lang amazed nako. It's built with towering gates held by broad and very high pillars on each side. On the arch above the gate lies the name of the university: Lancaster University (gold-plated!) Ay grabe. Isinisigaw ng entrance na exclusive lang ang school na 'to for very very very rich students!

Time flies really fast. I can't believe it. Summer is over. Nakakailang lang dahil pinagtitinginan ako ng mga students na dumadaan. Yeah I know. I'm new here. That's why I'm really nervous on my first day in school. Nginingitian ko na lang sila, tapos bigla akong inirapan at dinedma -_- Oh no. I've had enough of AJ's attitude. Sana naman hindi nagkalat ang mga alipores niya rito.. huhuhu... Please lang >.<

Pero buti na lang I have Nathan. There's nothing I should worry about. Safe haven ko yun eh! Sinamahan niya ako mag-enroll. Like what tita said, I shouldn't worry about anything. She told me na okay na ang lahat. All I have to do is pay the tuition fee and woosh! I'll be a student of this prestigious university. I don't know how tita did it. Maybe she has connections in that school and I'm thankful dahil talaga namang hindi nila pinabayaang masira ang future ko just because of my current situation.

Inalam ni Tito Niall kung naapektuhan ba ng amnesia ang performance ko in academics, so he made me took some examinations on different subjects and the difficulty of the exam suits my age. He hired a private tutor na mag-eevaluate sakin. I'm quite surprised on the results. Di ko inakalang I've got brains! Halos maperfect ko na ang lahat ng exams and I noticed that I really excel in Science and Mathematics. Tito and Tita were very happy about it. I chose to be a Med student. Nag take ako ng summer classes for a month para hindi ako maging irregular sa darating na pasukan. I promised myself that I will never ever disappoint them in my studies. Lalo na't sobra sobra na ang naitulong nila sakin.

Dumating ako sa buhay ng mga Go bilang isang sugatang babae at Mira lang ang bitbit na pangalan. Now, I'm Mira Claire Sanchez, 18 years old. My parents are handling many multinational companies and they are currently working abroad. I came from a very influential family. I am their Unica Hija who was left here in the Philippines under the supervision of Niall and Amelia Go making them my official guardians. Ayaw daw kuno ng parents ko na mabuhay mag-isa kaya pinatira nila ako sa Go residences. Let's say my parents are strict and protective of me kaya ganun ang nangyari.

As you can see, my identity is sealed on fake documents. Lahat puro pagpapanggap. I really feel guilty about it. Alam kong mali dahil hindi lang naman ibang tao ang niloko ko, pati na rin ang sarili ko. Pero anong magagawa ko? Kasi kahit yung mismong utak ko ayaw ipaalala sakin kung sino talaga ako. Hayyss. Kesa sa magmukmok ako, mapapasalamat na lang ako kay God dahil nabigyan ulit ako ng chance na mag-aral despite of my condition.

"Hoy!"

"Ay! Ano ba Nathan! Ba't ka ba nanggugulat!?"

Hinihintay ko kasi si Nathan dahil may binalikan siya sa kotse. Di ko man lang naramdaman na nasa tabi ko na pala siya. I was too pre-occupied.

"Muka ka nang ewan at nakatulala ka pa talaga sa gitna ng entrance! Tara na nga!"
