You were feeling good today and got an order from Good Hunters, specially requested by you. You felt like meeting up with Albedo again since you missed him dearly, even though you didn't see him not so long ago. And what you meant by not so long ago, you meant yesterday.

Well, it's more like you tried to meet up with him.

You thought that the alchemy area is one of the places he goes to in Mondstadt and went to check if he was in the alchemy area. You didn't see Albedo there but you did see someone, Timaeus.

"Oh, you're [reader] right? Nice meeting you here. Say, would you like to see-"

"Where's Albedo?" you asked, cutting him off while looking around.

"Oh...Uh, to be honest, I have no idea where he is. Maybe try looking for him at Dragonspine? Yikes~ just thinking of going there brings me the chills," Timaeus said, shivering at the thought of being somewhere so cold.

"Yeah, I'll try doing that." You realized that you didn't get to hear what he was about to say before. "What were you about to say?"

"Hm?" Timaeus looked confused for a second, but then realized what you were asking about. "Ah! I was just asking whether you would like to take a look at my bizarre alchemy creation?"

"Oh uh..." You hesitated for a bit while looking away, taking a few slow steps backwards. "Maybe some other time? I have something to discuss with Albedo." Timaeus looked at you before nodding his head.

"Yeah, okay! Well, don't slip and fall! Be safe," he said as he waved enthusiastically.

"See you some other time, haha," you responded, waving back a goodbye before walking away hurriedly.

.

It was cold as a frozen popsicle that has been sitting in the freezer for so long to the point where it sticks to the freezer itself.

"Oh my freaking...HOW MUCH HIGHER?!" you shouted, looking down while climbing up the mountains. Upon seeing how high you were from the ground, you freaked out and almost let go of your hand. You took that note in your mind 'never look down when climbing up a mountain'.

Sure, you've been through situations like this, like the time where you nearly fell off the cliff, but this is much scarier than you imagined. It was literal mountains in the cold. Even though the snow made it less scary, it was still as frightening.

"It's been so long since I've done this. I forgot how tiring this is," you mumbled, taking a deep breath after speaking a few words.

Finally reaching the camp, you went to see if he was there but HE WASN'T. You tried to look under the tables, behind the chair, basically everywhere.

"I climbed here for nothing!?!" you yelled, stomping your foot into the rocky ground of the campsite.

You sat near the campfire to take a break and to heat up from the cold air.

Breath in and breathe out... AHHH!

Footsteps were heard behind you. You turned around quickly, looking away from the campfire with a clenched fist and your eyes met with Albedo. You looked at him up and down, noticing that he was wearing a sleeveless top.

Respectfully, how the fuck is he wearing a sleeveless top?

"Albedo?" you called out from your spot. Albedo stopped walking before walking backwards to wherever he came from.

"You never saw me."

"But you're right there," you said out loud but he just went back in the shadows. You thought about if you were curious enough to see where he walked out of but you decided to respect his privacy.

You looked back to the campfire and the image of Albedo kept repeating in your head. Was that what he was wearing underneath his sweater coat? Wow, you can't get that image out of your head now.

.

After that, Albedo came out in his usual attire and brought out a canvas like usual (other than looking at his notes or taking care of Klee), acting as if that whole thing didn't even happen.

This time his canvas was big. As big as the upper half of his body, covering the lower part of his face.

"Albedo," you said, walking towards him. He didn't respond back to you, not even acknowledging your existence.

Honestly, you felt a tinge of disappointment but you attempted to greet him once again.

This time you walked towards him but pretended that you tripped on a pebble. Unfortunately, it wasn't pretend since a tiny, tiny rock decided to be in your way.  You tripped onto the hard ground, all that was heard was the fire crackling and the groan of a person who actually tripped.

You glared at the ground, feeling frustrated. The alchemist didn't even attempt to help you. Heck, he probably didn't think of helping you.

That's what you thought, but Albedo was hesitant to help you but he kept painting.

"Ignore, Ignore, Ignore," he thought, feeling a bit guilty.

You got up from the ground, stood up and marched towards him.

"Albedo! Greetings Albedo!" you shouted, trying to get his attention. He stopped moving his brush and opened his mouth slightly.

Is he going to finally greet you back!?  You clutched onto your coat, hoping that that was the case. You looked at him in anticipation.

"What a strange device," Albedo said while picking up something beside his canvas.

You stood there in disbelief. 🧍

"No way!" you shouted inside your head. "Okay, this guy is definitely ignoring me." You got tired, both from trying and from climbing the mountains. Too tired to deal with this crap. You decided to leave him alone since you didn't want to be annoying, making the conclusion that he was ignoring you.

"I left some food for you from Great Hunters. Bye," you grumbled in defeat, placing the food on a table and walked away.

After seeing your figure and the footsteps getting quieter, Albedo looked at the food you left. He went towards it and observed it.

He picked it up and opened the package with curiosity. It was a cute heart shaped egg with some salad on the side. Albedo didn't care though so he devoured it, knowing that you went all the way here just to meet him.

The egg was surprisingly good even after going through the cold adventure and the salad was sweet, just like to his liking. Albedo felt a bit bad for ignoring you but tried to shrug off that feeling. After all, it's working.

.

He went back to painting after eating the cute meal. The painting was a pretty scenery with birds flying at the top.

Flowers blooming, warm sun, and the fresh looking green grass. Something you can't see in Dragonspine.

Well...At least, not anymore.

He's been in Mondstadt and it's very sunny there but this painting had something to it. Freedom? Peace?...Love?

Albedo doesn't know what it was, but he is definitely sure that he enjoyed how this painting is headed. A small unnoticeable smile showed on his face as he continued to stroke the paintbrush against his painting.
