Chapter 7 (It's Not Wearing Off!):

It's been about 3-4 days since you had tried the potion. 

"It must have worn off now? Right?" Albedo thought to himself. 

Albedo is currently walking to your home in Mondstadt. He decided to check up on you to see if they're doing alright, hoping that they got rid of those feelings that they developed for Albedo ever since.

It's not that he hated the company of the person but it's just that the feelings of them and the situation as a whole could be a little overwhelming. He just wanted to continue his usual routine without the person trying to make him return feelings that he knows would only lead them to a path of despair and heartbreak.  

Albedo stopped in front of [reader]'s door, took a deep breath, and knocked on the door.

About 40 seconds passed by and he decided to knock again. 

Knock. Knock.

After a minute, there was no response. Even if there were signs of no response, Albedo just continued to stand there. Waiting and waiting. 

As he was still debating on waiting for you, you opened the door tiredly after checking the peephole. Too tired to care that it's Albedo. 

"Who is it?" you yawned out. 

You slowly opened one of your eyes while scratching your arm. 

"Good morning, it's Albedo," he replied. 

"Oh, good morning Albedo," you said while rubbing your eyes.

And then, it clicked your brain. 

ALBEDO.

You opened your eyes fully this time to see Albedo standing in front of you, no reaction at all.  You internally screamed to yourself while clenching your nightwear. 

"How come I didn't care that he was there when I checked the peephole?! Why is he here?! " you thought to yourself. You shut the door aggressively and rushed to your room, almost slipping on the way because of your slippers. 

Usually when someone like Amber, someone who is somewhat close to you, you wouldn't care and just let them in. But in this case, this is Albedo. Albedo, the great alchemist. The one who captured your heart suddenly.  

Albedo sighed, looking at the now shut door in front of him. Nonetheless, he stood still, not fazed in the slightest bit. He just wanted to get it over with. 

You quickly put on some proper clothes that are not your usual nightwear. You rushed to the door and opened it. 

"OH! Hey Albedo! Definitely didn't see you there," you greeted Albedo, trying to play it off cool. 

"But I just saw you-"

"So uh, would you like to come in?" you asked, pointing inside your home. 

"Sure," Albedo murmured, stepping a foot inside your apartment.

"TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF!" you yelled instinctively, pointing at his pretty shoes with furrowed brows. "You wore them outside on the dirt and now, you're about to walk in my home with them?!" 

He hurriedly took off his shoes, a bit frightened that you would beat his butt. However, remained still collected, not a hint of fear shown in his expression.
