Chapter 12 (The Screen Ahead Of Them):

"Oh no, no more social interactions please," you said, groaning while turning your head towards Albedo. "Actually since it's you, I can make some time. What do you need?" 

Albedo looked at you, displeased with your 'affectionate' answer. 

"If you don't mind, would you like me to walk you back?" he asked politely, "It's getting quite late [reader]." You shook your head as a sign of no.

"No?" He seems quite surprised by your answer.

"I would like to go somewhere with you before my day ends," you started, smiling while standing up from your seat. 

"Shall we go?" you asked in a teasing tone, sticking your hand out for him to take but he just nodded and walked away from you. 

"You don't even know where we're going?! Come back!" you shouted, jogging to his side. "I'm so happy I get to spend some time with you today~" 

When you both left the cathedral, the wind blew strongly.

"Wow. It's quite windy out," He said softly, squinting while fixing his bangs a bit.

"Have you ever been to the musk reef?" you asked, ignoring his last comment. He shook his head.

"No. Why?"

"Because that's where we are headed, pretty boy!" you stated proudly, walking away from the cathedral. "Oh by the way, do you have a boat? We might need it since we are traveling through the sea, unless we glide."  Albedo just sighed while walking right behind you.

"I guess we're gliding there then."

Feeling the water beneath your feet, you let out a huge yawn. 

"That felt like forever, my legs are sore now," you mumbled under your breath, putting your hands to your knees. 

"Well, you were the one to suggest we head here," Albedo said. 

"But, it's actually pretty nice. Very peaceful," Albedo complimented, looking at his reflection in the water.  He then continued walking, noticing this weird looking domain thingy. 

"What is this? Should we explore it?" he asked, touching the walls. 

You looked at the spiral abyss and quickly ran to him. 

"No! We shouldn't. Unless you want to fight monsters for rewards..." you rambled, feeling anxious just thinking about floor 12...Level 100 monsters. 

"Then, should we go on that cliff over there?" Albedo asked, pointing at a nearby cliff above the water. You nodded and the both of you walked over to where Albedo pointed.

"Though this place is very pretty, I still like the view at Snarsnatch Cliff better. Thanks for taking me here," he said with gratitude, looking at the night sky. 

"Yeah..." you said quietly, smiling to yourself. 

As the both of you enjoy the silence and refreshing air, Albedo's eyes went towards your figure. His eyes widened slightly as he noticed a whopper flower coming towards you. 

"Look out!" he shouted, reaching towards your hand to grab you. Hearing his warning, you took your weapon out and threw it close at the nearby whopper flower. 

"What a rude flower...Interrupting my day with Albedo," you said loudly towards the monster as it ran away. 

Albedo just stayed quiet, retracting his hands.
