"OH MY GOSH. Albedo...YOU FINALLY RESPONDED TO ME," you yelled, clenching your fists. You looked at him with stars in your eyes. You felt a mixture of furiousness and happiness.

"Yes," he responded, taking a bite of his burger. You waited for him to say something else but he didn't add on.

"That's all you're going to tell me? After you brutally ignored me?" you asked him in utter disbelief.

"Yes."

You just scoffed and sent yourself a reminder to ask him about it afterwards and just let him eat for now. You distracted yourself by watching the people of Mondstadt walk by.

"I apologize if you aren't satisfied with my answer. I'm just focusing on what you got me."

"How wonderful," You replied. "Paying more attention to your food more than you pay attention to your future significant other."

.

Albedo finished eating his burger while you were just standing in front of him the whole time, staring. Not smiling, not doing anything! Just staring.  Definitely not weird.

"You know, it's quite rude to stare," he commented.

"Isn't this what you do the majority of the time when we hang out though? Or let me rephrase that...When you ignored me,"  you said in a petty tone.

"So other than you telling me not to ignore you, do you need anything?" Albedo put his hand on his hips and ignoring your first question.

"Of course, it's fine if you don't want to tell me, I just wanna know why you ignored me in the first place?" you asked, looking at him.

"Before you were all lovey dovey with me and now acting possessed, you never liked me. Well, you liked me as a friend but not in this way. But then you tested out a potion that I may or may not have created and now you're in love with me," he explained, calmly.

"Oh...So is that why my Fisherman's toast tasted a little like garlic?" you asked.

"Excuse me?"

"Sorry, that came out of nowhere. But I do have another question to ask. Is that one of the  reasons why you rejected my feelings?" you asked, looking to the side, embarrassed.

"What? No, you're a lovely individual [reader]," he said.

You coughed into your fist and you batted your eyelashes, unless you got none.

"Continue," you said, feeling bashful from getting a compliment.

"I just don't...Well, I'm not interested in dating at the moment," he said, gently while putting a hand to his chest. "I would not like to date you when I don't have any feelings to return."

Honestly, you didn't feel too upset since his reasons were completely understandable. Not only that but he conveyed them in a kind mannered way.

"That's understandable. Well, uh...Thank you?" you said confused, rubbing your neck.

"You're welcome," Albedo replied. You both stood there in silence before you went ahead and asked another question.

"So what made you stop ignoring me?"

"Well, I asked for some advice from Master Jean. She said that ignoring you wouldn't really help with the situation and to just let the feelings pass through on its own," he explained.

You stayed quiet while tapping your foot to your own rhythm. You couldn't really figure out words to say back. Did you have to respond? It wasn't much but you felt conflicted a bit. It's not that your feelings are now going away, it's more of the fact that...

"I don't know if these feelings are going to disappear honestly," you said. "I think I really do like you."

...

"We could only find out then in a few months or maybe in a few weeks."

"I guess so. I think I'm gonna go now...See you later Albedo," you said, about to walk away while waving.

"Wait, you're not going to stay?" Albedo asked, confused.

Your heart just bloomed on the spot. Did Albedo want you to stay?

"What do you mean by that? Do you perhaps want me to stay?" you questioned, clearly feeling euphoric thinking that he wanted you to stay.

"No. I don't mean it in a way I don't want you here, it's just that you usually cling onto me whenever you bump into me or purposely try to find me just so you could," Albedo explained, shaking his head slightly.

"Is it bad that I'm clingy?" you asked, anxiously. Albedo didn't seem to hesitate to answer your question, almost as if he planned on the answer in his mind beforehand.

"It depends on who you are with. In my opinion, even if you are clingy, I enjoy your company [reader] still," he said, looking at you. "But of course, it's not good being clingy since it would make you more dependent than independent, which might make you rely on others all the time. But it's not necessarily bad that you are clingy in my perspective since you don't seem that way."

"I still would love my alone time though," he added quietly.

HEART = BOOM BOOM. That's it. That was your final straw. You did the first thing you thought and covered your eyes dramatically, then ran away.

"I CAN'T HANDLE THIS."

OoMPH!

"Um, are you okay?"

"SORRY," you said loudly to the person you bumped into before speed-walking away without your hands covering your eyes.

"Be careful! Did I say something wrong?" he asked himself.

.

You ran into your room, slamming the door shut.

"He enjoys my company, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!" you yelled to yourself, covering your face. "He's so...DREAMY. HOW IS HE REAL?"

"[Reader]!" Amber giggled.

"He's so- AHH!" you shouted, getting scared by her and threw a pillow in her direction.

Amber saw the incoming pillow towards her way so she moved slightly to the side, avoiding it.

"Hey! No need to be feisty, it's just me," she stated, crossing her arms.

You looked at her, dumbfounded.

"Hey, Amber. When did you get here?" you asked her, getting yourself up from your bed.

You felt slightly embarrassed that she caught you giggling about Albedo but it probably wasn't the first time.

"I got here a while ago actually. Oh! Sorry if you feel bothered or creeped out or anything. I didn't mean any harm but Jean sent me here because she needs your help with something. So here I am!" she announced, grabbing an apple from your table.

"Huh? What would Jean need me for?" you asked her.

"I don't know but that's something for you and her to discuss," Amber replied. "Let's get going, shall we? We don't want to keep her waiting for too long."

You nodded while getting ready to walk out the door alongside Amber to meet with Jean.

While you were getting ready, Albedo was still standing at the same spot you left him, debating with himself if he did something wrong.
