Chapter 9 (Mission: Try to Ignore [Reader]! Pt.2):

In Mondstadt, you woke up to the bright sunshine shining in your fucking eyes. 

You didn't get a wink of sleep last night since you were busy wondering why Albedo was ignoring you. Sure, you were clingy but you really couldn't help it...

You were just hopelessly in love with the fine alchemist! 

This day is going to be spent with you knowing that Albedo is ignoring on purpose for whatever reason. Wow... 

"Today is probably gonna be one dreadful day," you thought to yourself. 

You wanted to shrug off the feeling so distracted yourself by talking to Timaeus since you told him that you would check out his new alchemy project. Besides, he seemed very eager to talk about it with someone. 

Whether or not you care about his project, it was a nice gesture and you had nothing else to do since your second priority (Albedo) is feeling a bit goofy. You got ready, used the washroom, and headed out to meet Timaeus.

"Hey [reader], are you looking for Albedo again?" Timaeus asked. You shook your head. 

"I'm here to check out your creation, did you forget already?" you asked him jokingly. He didn't seem to know that you were joking around since he looked at you with a slightly shocked expression and shook his head.

"Of course not, it's my own creation after all. Honestly, I didn't think you would actually come to see it but I guess I was wrong." 

He smiled before showing you what he was working on. He brought out sheets of paper and a flower. The flower is in its process of blooming, but it doesn't seem to bloom into any ordinary flower. It seemed to have wings that weren't fully developed. 

Were you confused? Yes, but nonetheless you complimented his work. 

"Thanks [reader]! It was hard trying to come up with this. Obviously, it isn't done yet and it's still developing, but I'm quite satisfied with it.  I was thinking of testing out something to do with fireworks since some man who went to Inazuma brought fireworks and gave them to me. I have no idea why but it was a nice exchange. He claimed that he bought the fireworks from a girl named 'Yoimiya'," Timaeus said while putting his hand on his hip.

"If only Albedo was here to see my work. I think he would like it," Timaeus sighed.

"In fact, I do. Quite interesting, but it's quite a simple concept," Albedo commented out of the blue. You were stunned to find Albedo standing beside you, you didn't know that he was there. It was almost like he just spawned there at that moment. 

"I didn't see you there. Thanks for thinking so, I'm glad you too like it," Timaeus said, admiring his own work. 

Just as he finished his last sentence, you took this as an opportunity to talk to Albedo before he could take a chance to run away or do something similar.

"Albedo! Good morning love, how are you?" you asked him, hoping you would get a response from him but you didn't.

Maybe, he is busy observing Timaeus's work or he's still ignoring you. Your smile soon became strained. Timaeus noticed that the tension in the air between the three of them changed and felt uncomfortable. 

"Well, uh, thanks for checking out my creation project. I appreciate it. I think I should go now because I need to help...Sucrose! Yeah, I need to help Sucrose with something haha," Timaeus announced nervously before walking away.
