"Woah, you should be more careful with that brush~" a soothing voice said.

Albedo recognized that voice almost immediately and glanced slowly at Kaeya.

"Oh, It's just you..." Albedo said, putting down his brush against his canvas.

He walked away to his board while analyzing it. "What can I help you with?"

"Oh me? I was just wondering what you were up to, Albedo," Kaeya responded, looking at the board as well.

"I'm observing all my past experiments," Albedo responded, eyes focusing on the papers pinned to the board.

Kaeya tried to look at the papers pinned to the board but there was just so much writing, his head didn't feel like comprehending all of it.

"I don't understand a single thing there," Kaeya muttered.

He tried squinting to see it clearer to see if he could understand all those formulas but he just couldn't. Looking at it soon made his head hurt so he glanced at Albedo who seemed to be lost in his own ponderment.

"It's not very nice to ignore your visitors," Kaeya said while jokingly slightly pouting.

Albedo looked back at Kaeya.

"Oh, I apologize if that seemed rude. Would you like anything from me or were you just checking up on me?" Albedo asked while turning towards Kaeya, crossing his arms.

"Hm..." Kaeya hummed, putting his hands on his chin, pretending to think. "Ah! I know~ Let's head to Monstadt and we'll discuss further matters there."

Albedo nodded as Kaeya began walking.

"Lead the way then," Albedo said, following behind him.

.

They arrived on the bridge to Mondstadt.

"Ah~ That's more like it. Seriously, I wonder how you stay in Dragonspine so long and the fact that you live there too, quite impresses me," Kaeya said, clapping his hands softly.

"Thank you. Who knows how I live there," Albedo responded, walking beside Kaeya, entering Mondstadt. "Why does the cold bother you?"

Kaeya scoffed out a laugh.

"As if."

"Is there a place in mind that you would like to discuss?" Albedo asked.

"I believe that the tavern would be nice."

.

"I like the tavern, it's very..." Kaeya's voice trailed off for a moment to think of a word to describe the tavern. "Comforting here, ya know?"

Albedo looked around. He internally grimaced, disliking the reeks of drunk people.

"What would you like to talk about, Kaeya?" Albedo asked.

"Oh? Are you really that curious to know?" Kaeya asked, teasingly with a smirk. He slightly swirled the drink he had in his hand. "Let's just say that I overheard you talking to Sucrose the other day about a certain someone."

Albedo almost stopped breathing for a moment.

"Barbatos, please don't tell me," Albedo thought, shoulders dropping slowly.

"Do you perhaps have a thing for [reader]?" Kaeya asked, leaning closer to Albedo.

Damn it.

"I do not," Albedo said, leaning back into his chair while folding his arms. "In fact, it's the opposite. [Reader] likes me a lot actually."

"Are you sure?~ I overheard you talking to Sucrose and you sure did have fun talking about them so passionately yesterday," Kaeya said, trying to tease the living hell out of Albedo.

"I did not. Respectfully, I believe that you are imagining things," Albedo said sternly, not even a little flustered.

He crossed his arms while staring back at Kaeya.

Kaeya hummed, taking a sip of his drink.

"You know, I do have one more question so don't leave yet."

"What's the question you have?" Albedo questioned, slightly annoyed by this whole conversation, still keeping his nonchalant manner.

He slightly regrets agreeing with Kaeya.

"So~ do you like-"

"I'm leaving," Albedo said, standing up from his seat.

"Wait, don't go yet!" Kaeya exclaimed, waving his hand back, implying for Albedo to return.

Albedo looked at Kaeya and sat back down. He tilted his head, waiting for Kaeya to talk.

"So go on. Tell me about yourself. I rarely talk to you," Kaeya said while closing his eyes, ready to hear what Albedo has to say.

"..."

"What? I brought you out here anyways. Let's try to get to know each other, hm?"

Albedo just nodded hesitantly in agreement. "What information would you like to know about myself?"

"Surprise me. Anything, really."

"I ate a spider once," Albedo said.

"PFt-" Kaeya spat out his drink while slapping the table once.

"That was so random," Kaeya said, smiling with a raised brow.

"Well, you told me to tell you about myself. Did you not?" Albedo responded.

"Yes but usually a person would just respond with something about their day, their hobbies, or something similar. But eating a spider? That's the first...Go on, tell me more about it."

And with that, Albedo continued to chat about his spider-eating incident.

.

After Albedo and Kaeya had conversations about random topics, it was noon already.

Albedo was walking back from Monstadt, heading towards his work area. He thought back to what Kaeya asked him.

"No, I don't like [reader]," He concluded. "Not at all."

.

Meanwhile in your situation.

"Oh no! Shucks! This is all my fault...Sorry. This all would've not happened if it weren't for my bad luck," Bennett reasoned in a disappointed tone.

"No, it's not Bennett. I'm sure there is some mechanical stuff that could get us out of here. Besides, this place seems old anyways," you reassured while patting his back harshly.

"Ow! What are you doing?!" Bennett asked bewildered, slapping your hand away.

"I'm trying to comfort you," you responded. "Was it working?"

Rubbing his neck, he said sheepishly, "Oh, thanks I guess but that wasn't really comforting."

He kept walking around, hoping to find something but then tripped.

"Ow! What in the-"

His back hit the wall. It was a mechanism! A big door opened and it led to a room. The room had a bunch of precious chests and mora! You and Bennett looked at each other in utter belief and high-fived each other before Bennett smiled widely.

You both ran into the room and started opening the chests gleefully.

.

"Wow! Haha! Thanks for helping me with this domain [reader]. If it weren't for you being here, I feel l would've been stuck in there for a long time on my own! Now, we can go back peacefully!" Bennett exclaimed, while walking beside you.

You both walked outside from the domain and BOOM.

It was thundering, clouds filled up the sky and raindrops started to harshly drop to the ground. The thunderous booming grew louder and louder as the sky started to get darker.

"Oh."
