"Peter maybe Meg hates us" Lois said with hestiant in her voice "Especially what we did to her, I cant blame her, not wanting to live with us anymore asap" she looked down to the floor. Peter didnt say anything but kept on looking to where Meg was at.
"She is conflicted Lois" he tells his wife "We barged in out of no where and at the time like this was poor" He admitted softly. Lois sniffs "I know it was shitty of us to come at the time like this but Meg needs us, her parents to support her in this terrible time" She added.
"Give her some space and time. Lord knows she going to need it" Peter said, trying to calm her down. Lois broke into tears the moment Meg left to the other room.
"Its not fair Peter! Its not!" Lois sniffed loudly before quieting down "I just want her daughter back but she hates me" she covered her face. Peter sat down next to her, rubbing her back with a blank look on his face.
He wasnt sure how he feels right now, so keeping a blank face is a preferable choice.
"Calm down Lois. Everything is going to be alright" He hugs his weeping wife, who didnt care at the moment. Lois knew she lost Meg when she left the house, she knew it deep down in her heart that she was to blame, alongside with her husband.
Little did they know that their daughter was behind the close doors, watching their conversion quietly.
